Does the Lenovo legion 8.8 2023 tablet support Aptx audio under Bluetooth?
@wilsont101010 күн бұрын
This y700 tablet is quite useless taking into account that the screen touch has long delay, and extended display can only be in landscape.
@jiffonbuffoАй бұрын
The funny thing with the old Legion Y700 that has SD 870 was that Lenovo added stylus support to that thing months after launch. And they NOT even promote that feature ever. Lack of local warranty in my region was the only thing that stopped me from getting that one.

Keep in mind the 2025 version doesn’t have expandable microsd card support

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. It sounds like the current version is the way to go. I can’t believe they would make such a silly mistake.
@jiffonbuffoАй бұрын
@@TheSpareTechRoomA lot of them pull off the same s***. Esp the gaming phones from Redmagic, Rog Asus etc. They did well in keeping the headphone jack but still ended up removing the sd card slot. It also doesn't help that the consumers hurl insults at people who still use expandable memories.

was having a tough time deciding between this and redmagic nova. both SD 8 gen 3 (redmagic has leading version), and same storage options for base model. i ultimately went with the nova for the larger display of 10.9", as i needed the tablet for studying as well. also, redmagic battery is 10,100 mah.

advice for future video , don't repeat things over and over , the first minutes were a pain to watch TBH , also the processor is 8gen 1 plus not a 8gen 1 which is better than the regular one , also in the video you showed the tablet for 10% of the vid and the rest was just you talking holding it , it is not good that way we want to see the tablet. great video by the way

Exactly what I was thinking. The 8+gen1 (TSMC) is better optimized for long gaming session compared to the 8gen1 (Samsung).

Budget?? The specs, build quality, and especially the screen are 100% premium. I bought it a few weeks ago, and I’m so impressed with it, especially the screen quality, which wipes the floor with the screens of the standard iPad 10 and Samsung S9 FE that I already owned. It’s very vivid, very sharp, high-resolution, and, of course, 144Hz. it’s priced cheaply on AliExpress, but Lenovo sells it in Europe for €400 (equivalent to $420 USD). There’s nothing ‘budget’ about this little powerhouse of a tablet!

I'm looking into buying this device but the 8 gen 3. I'm just hesitant because of the warranty since it will be shipped directly from china
@TheSpareTechRoomАй бұрын
That’s a valid concern. My only issue with the 8 gen 3 version is that it doesn’t have a micro sd card slot, but if that doesn’t bother you, I would highly recommend it.

@TheSpareTechRoom for you which one is a better choice? The oneplus pad 2 or this legion tablet?
@TheSpareTechRoomАй бұрын
@@lowkeygaming4716 That totally depends on what you're looking for. I value having a smaller tablet, something I can easily carry around, or even attach controllers to for gaming. So, for me, the Lenovo is awesome. But, if you like something bigger, OnePlus makes great tablets as well. :)

@@TheSpareTechRoom The 2024 does have a microSD card slot that will support up to 1TB of storage.
@dayab0licalАй бұрын
@@droghadenThis is incorrect. the 2024 version is the same as the 2025 version and gsmarena and giztop both incorrectly list the tab as having a microsd slot. they likely copy and pasted a huge portion of the specs from y700 2023. plenty of redditors from r/androidtablets have the 8 gen 3 version and confirmed there was no microsd slot. with photos and all.

Some constructive criticism: Having a jump-cut between EVERY. SINGLE. SENTENCE. felt incredibly jarring to watch, and unnatural. So much so that I couldn't finish the video. That said, it seems like an interesting device, and I'm glad you reviewed it. Unnatural cutting aside, and despite your small number of subscribers, I think you probably have what it takes to have at least 100k subs eventually, maybe much more. Edit: (to clarify with some more thoughts) well it looks like most if not all of your videos have the overly jumpy editing style, so it's very intentional. I don't know if you're trying to appeal to zoomer brainrot viewers that cannot even take a quarter second of silence between sentences, or just trying to make it easier to say everything you'd like to without long pauses or 'uhs' and 'ums', but it it's the former I want to make clear that, from my perspective at least, this shouldn't be a conscious editing decision because it absolutely reduces the production value of your content and makes it seem more scripted, less well thought out, and less serious, resulting in it being less engaging. On the other hand, if this is your attempt to try to remove 'unnatural' pauses, you should work on speaking more fluidly yourself because the improvement in video quality will be worth it. Interestingly, leaving in an 'uh' 'um' or a small pause might actually humanize you more and make the content more engaging because it'll seem more authentic and therefore more engaging. I haven't done really anything with video production, but I do come from a background of having done a lot of competitive speaking, so that's my frame of reference. I'm curious what your thoughts are on this.

disagree. the tab is well optimized but it obviously can't compete with 8 Gen 3. even despite that, it has a ton of features that make it a solid tab
