I live in Tijuana but I was born in San Diego, CA, and the places for Tacos in Tijuana in my opinion are Taqueria El Franc, Taconazo in Playas de Tijuana, Tacos N Todo "Tacos Costillas Rib Tacos" in Hipodromo behind the Xolos Stadium and Tacos Ahumaderas!

been to TJ a few times for the tacos, a bit of a drive from glendale CA but worth the trek, monday through thursday works for me as the lines coming back are shorter and the churros that are freshly cooked are awesome.

..They say up on the long road to la presa is at a taco stand with some seat's around and they make the best on one stand or single tacos in all or most of tijuana "Flamming's or Flacos'.." it is called and etc places make's good enough taco's with two sauce made in small clay or rock sauce cup's and the topping's or first one topping sauce they can add from upper la presa to the other side of the freeway in a neighborhood that a narrow leads someway out there and the large hill on the leftside with a sign of the direction your going inside mexico or like south..! i kind of like the one small push taco stand that is located outside of a small parking lot or a lot for a store or pharmacy and a number of stores there or around ... pretty close by the two or three way street town with outside to eat restaurant's or restaurant's bar's like or cafes etc just after the downtown area or one road or road's leads out of there or by there! You can find a indoor larger seating restaurant that serve a number of meal's too next to the taco Stand's and etc in home taco stand's that sell's good or good enough taco's just for some change !

Up here in Turlock Calif we have at least 20 taco trucks plus about 20 Mexican restaurants they should call turlock Tacoville if you like authentic Mexican tacos with dynamite chilii sauce cilantro sevoya carne asada, Tripas, sesos, pastor, burritos , Stanislaus county is tacos &. burritos is everywhere Fresno is trying too catch up some are served with grilled onions,jalapenos, we have el tapatio meat market they sell tacos Burritos , soups, etc also Modesto, riverbank , Patterson have good Mexican foodies

I'm no expert but my aunt lived in TIWAS for over 15 years we went to T J a lot spent weekends there and my favorite tacos were TACOS A. VAPOR they were always fresh and hot con chilli they tasted like tamales when I was a kid they were only 10 cents for each it could have been the dog meat but so good
