Thanks for sharing another great recipe: One of my fave foods! These look absolutely amazing! I really like the fact that you added some beef broth (flavor enhancer and keeps beef juicy) and the diced tomatoes (adds color, texture, enhanced taste, and freshness), but never thought of adding cream cheese, which I'm sure adds creaminess and a slight element of surprise; I can also appreciate the fact that you don't unnecessarily throw around a lot of salt. At any rate, I will definitely try adding the cream cheese soon, as well as layering the tacos in this manner and then baking them: I'm a huge fan of tacos, as well, in general, in addition to black beans, so I'll definitely be making these very soon. These tacos look delicious. I usually make tacos every week, never put them in the oven though but I will. I was concerned when I saw you not drain the liquid off of the ground beef, thinking the shell would rip at the bottom and I see it did. I’m going to drain mine hopefully it is still as good.

Actually that came from not patting dry the beans. Remember the beans were the first layer in the shell. The meat was on top of the beans.

Have you made Mexican Lasagna? You use corn Tortilla's for the noodles. Taco meat, I use a mix chicken and beef. I soak corn torilla in warm enchilada sauce with a can of diced tomatoes,use enchilada sauce for sauce on layers. Cheese all fixings. It is so good.

I hate those pre made taco shells lol! The stand n stuff breaks apart as soon as you bite it. And the regular ones you can’t put filling in without it breaking. I get the packs of corn tortillas. And I do a bunch of soft fry’s (for soft taco’s) and then some flat tostada’s 😋
