personal observation: Piper needing enemies to stand still isn't as big a weakness as you make it out to be. To begin with, you probably don't need the full duration of the EX special to apply assault on an enemy considering Piper's insane anomaly proficiency, and even if an enemy is too far away, you can do switch tech to trigger the final hits of the attack early, get closer to the enemy with a new agent while Piper is still attacking at the same time, and generally continue to pile on damage. You probably shouldn't bring Piper into the dancers' fight without stun, but generally speaking, she can perform well on most enemies if you know how to move in the middle of the EX special because she does technically chase down enemies during that attack and especially the last few hits go further than you think. With that I would recommend a different disorder team if you have Soldier 11 but aren't lucky enough to get grace, that being Soldier, Lucy, and Piper. If you build Soldier then she serves as a consistent source of fire damage and burn application, and combined with Lucy's attack buff and Piper's swift assault application, it takes massive chunks off enemy health every time disorder gets applied, which is usually several times in quick succession if the enemy is miraculously tanky enough to survive the first time disorder gets applied.

Yeah definetly got the feeling this guy is sleeping on piper a bit. I use the same soldier team in which she definitely feels better than ben in koledas slot imo, and I imagine the same teamcomp with nekomata as the attacker would work just as well with assault synergy instead. Her only real downside is field time but she puts out enough damage to warrant it.

as far as unlucky alternatives go, I've been running Piper/Ben/Lucy as my go-to comp and I'm happy to report they all work really well together! You can get plenty of fire application between Ben's EX parry, his dodge attack, and assist parry, ditto Lucy. That whole team really appreciates the free 16 Crit Rate as well!

I've found that Rina Corrin Anby provides a pretty decent Corrin focused strategy. Corrin's quick assist off Rina's EX special, chain attack, and ultimate does a solid chunk of damage and helps get into range to tag into Anby and build up daze. There's not a ton of shock buildup here but there's enough to where over the course of the fight you'll trigger it a few times if you're using the right rotation. Corrin's absolutely insane DPS on EX special on a stunned target combined with the penetration ratio Rina gives her from the quick assist tag absolutely melts anything in her way, especially since the sheer volume of hits builds up physical anomaly very quickly considering she's just an attacking character. With some buildup disk drives to try and ensure you can get a trigger of assault on the stunned target, Corrin will do a mammoth amount of damage in that stun period, especially if you also trigger distortion. If we ever get a Physical stunner, I could see her usefulness skyrocket because those numbers really are just insane if you can engineer the situation for them to work.

@ilikemenlmao it's mainly because Anton fills a very similar role and Rina/Anton/Grace greatly outclasses Corrin, since Corrin only gets to comparable DPS when the enemy is stunned while Anton does insane numbers pretty much constantly. If we ever get a physical stunner though that could very well change.

Pipers spin to win on a nekonata team does build assault super fast. The two of them honestly synergize pretty well. I clear my higher data challenges (the ones that give you the mats to upgrade passives) in under a minute with them and soukaku

Read if you like corrin hehe. From my experience in testing to those curious corrins best team is Rina and Piper and not lycon. I've tested both comps in various different content and Piper corrin with Rina always preformed better while still getting a consistant stun so as long as your built right. The issue with lycon is like every stun unit they need a bit of on field time which isn't really bad but alot of lycons daze build up comes from using his charge skills to which takes away corrins on field time. Compared to Rina piper where Rina acts as a strong support to damage and off field damage. Piper acts as crowd control and easily combos in and out of corrin while also allowing corrin to trigger phys anomaly very , very quickly. Due to how easy rina is to build no shame in giving her a bit of impact. As Rina off field combined to corrin is just devastating. And fills the daze bar very quickly giving much more damage value over running lycon.

⁠​⁠​⁠@@yourworstnightmare1950but Corin isn’t a good on fielder, all her dmg are from her skill and burst, her dodge attack and normal attacks scratches enemies, she’s a frontload dmg dps Lycaon not only stun enemies at a way faster pace than any character we have so far and he also gives additional daze multipliers to enemies so ur doing 1.85x more dmg in comparison to 1.5x dmg normally, combined with how fast he stuns enemies, the team will have way better frontload dmg, bcs normally with Piper/Anby, within let’s 1min, you will only stun a enemy 1~2 times in Shiyu Defense floor 9 or above, but with Lycaon, you can stun enemies 3 times within 1min easily and will get a 4th stun right after 1min bench mark, and Shiyu defense is time based so more frontload dmg = better Sure Piper can apply physical anomaly which also helps stunning enemies quicker however it’s nowhere near as fast as Lycaon, and Soukaku/Lucy will be the final slot for providing atk% for buffing Corin during the stunned phase to do nuke dmg with her skill -> ult Rina’s pen value is not as great as people think, at least as of current she’s nowhere near as good as dmg buffer like Lucy/Soukaku

@@episode4882 issue being lycon needs alot of on field time. Rina piper allows that front load damage while getting combo in combo out damage as well. The reason Rina pen buff isn't that great at first is because she isn't really Somone you want to support invest untill your later in the game. But when you do it can surpasses Lucy , lycon or whomever on corrins team due to the fact that as stated lycon needs alot of on field time which can contradict with corrins on field time perhaps if we get a phys stun that can work with corrin but she doesn't make use of any of lycons buffs on top of that. Rina is not that hard to build as her only priority is pen bonus. On her own she can quickly fill the daze bar , and if you have more investment build her with pen and some impact. For early game soku/ Lucy are a strong support but once you gain access to more investment Rina stands as the strongest support along side them. Sure you get more front load damage having lycon but your overall damage potential shines when paired with Rina and Piper. Ive tested both and every time did Rina piper clear faster than soku and lycon.. Rina has that off field , which can already fill daze really quickly when Invested correctly, Piper is a driver for in-out combo and anomaly for corrin to trigger. All of that together has no issues filling daze bar. Your essentially just sacrificing slightly less daze and stun for more imminent bursts of damage. From all of my gameplay , the abilty to combo in and out , still buffing with Rina , and maximizing on corrins on field time with the very quick anomaly bursts have so thus far out preformed every other test I've done with soku and lycon paired to corrin.

@@yourworstnightmare1950 what do you mean longer field time with Lycaon, he literally shred shield with 2 combo without even considering abusing counter If you start with Corin and have Lycaon on 2nd slot, upon seeing an attack you can shift + left lick + space + left click to trigger dodge counter and assist follow up from Corin and Lycaon at the same time if you click fast enough which literally shreds away 30~40% daze meter, to then Lycaon only needs to be on field and do his thing or trigger the above combo as I have mentioned to quickly shred away the remaining daze meter, which would only take around 5~7secs All of these would’ve taken 8~12secs to complete, in short in just 8~12secs Corin can begin her dps phase with a 1.8x dmg multiplier after enemies is stunned + Soukaku’s atk buff, you get to do much higher dps in way shorter amount of time, and again, all of Corin’s dmg are condensed into her skill and burst, using her on field has absolute no merit, in fact ur just wasting field time that could’ve been used to break daze meter, and again, it would only take 8~12secs to do so against elite mobs in Shiyu defense floor 9+

7:06 I was looking for footage of the interaction between Piper's EX Special and Lucy's MC6, so thank you for that. While I'm here, let me spread the good word of Lucy, Piper, and Ben as a very solid low to the ground relatively F2P team. So long as you give them enough energy and are good at parrying, Ben and Lucy together can output nearly as much fire anomaly and daze as S11 and Koleda can. As a bonus, you only really need to get lucky by pulling a single copy of Piper, as Ben is free and Lucy is in the shop, although the team gets significantly better with MC2 Lucy at a minimum.

I use Neko/Soukaku/Anby, Ellen, or Soldier 11, with Billy for my more strategic approaches. You can pretty much rotate all these characters in a group due to speed, damage and attribute. I'm fortunate enough to have all of soukakus cinemas, with 0 for literally every other character I'm consistent with of course, so she's my number one for the attribute attacks. Now that I have Ellen, it's hard not to keep them together due to buildup being so fast.

You can stick Nicole on any team for the defense shred too. Helps a little with grouping if positioning well. 3.5 seconds doesn't seem like a lot, but this does apparently refresh each time it is triggered.

So weirdly piper can be a versatile DPS choice. Given her intrinsic anomaly buildup, if you focus her daze buildup through records and pair her with nekomata and corinne, you can pump out some big physical damage. If you get an anomaly break on piper, switch to neko and use her ex for increased damage and if you daze, switch to corinne for her ex. Given the interruption of pipers full ex, its good for a lot of enemies grouped together. Corinne does boss dps and neko is a switch in for parries and chain attacks.

I personally use Soldier-11, Koleda, and Ben. Ben's shield is nice, though not truly needed, but the 16% Crit Rate helps when building 11. Letting you focus on Crit Damage Disc's, especially since it's not difficult to maintain. Furthermore, as much as I do like Lucy, Koleda and Ben in the same team boosts the power of Koleda's abilities. To me, personally, that brings a lot to the table.

Debating upgrading this little guy. My current team is Nekomata + Piper + Nicole + Amillion But after Zhu Yuan comes out, I will be running: Zhu Yuan + Anby + Nicole + Amillion for TEAM A and Nekomata + Piper + Lucy for TEAM B Having these 6 characters actually gives me a LOT of potential configurations for swapping around agents, but these are the defaults I plan on using. and for that reason, I need a bangboo for TEAM B, and lo and behold, free 5star A rank Bangboo for dual physical teams just dropped in my lap. I could potentially use an Ether boo for Zhu's team, but I'd rather not waste Amillion when it comes to battles requiring two teams. Luckyboo seems like a cheap way to fill the gap for now, especially since I'm interested in getting a Calydon team bangboo if that comes out in the future. The other options I was considering were Magnetiboo or Booressure for generic filler until I invest in more permanent bangboos in the future, but having a physical team bangboo seems worth having around regardless, as I'd preferably have a bangboo for all 5 attribute type teams down the line. The one benefit of not going Luckyboo, is that if I want to ever run Zhu Yuan + Piper + Lucy, I would need one of those for the team, but I guess Bagboo could also fit there in a pinch. Have that one at level 20 a the moment. (Having a Calydon team boo would be great in this example, if we had one.)

Not sure how it stands meta-wise, but a friend of mine really likes Billy and they're running him as an ultimate burster, alongside a support and a second physical DPS to work as the in-field character while building dB. Hopefully we'll see more fun alternatives to team building as the game progresses.

Semi-F2P since it was free to me (I got extremely lucky) For Corin, I've mained pretty much Lycaon, Nicole, and Corin together. Lycaon is just so good at stunning, you can chain attack into Corin -> Nicole, then assist back into Corin and then special shreds the bosses health. When bangboo gets involved it's a little wilder too, Lycaon stun, chain attack into Corin -> Nicole -> Bangboo back into Lycaon then swap to Nicole use the EX Special and the assist swap into Corin and either Special or Ultimate. Nicole is also a hug bonus for Corin lack of range with small enemies as well since Lycaon stuns, Nicole chain attack then assist swap to Corin into another small enemy.

correction: anton needs to CRIT 4x before the next attack has an additional 45% electric damage on shocked enemies and another is anton's normal attack is slow. so just using him a bit and let his energy charge outfield or use him for switch counter and chain attacks to get him some energy or use him on field for some extra hits and use anton when his energy is at 50% or better at 100%. his drilling attacks are all electric damage. proper build would be 2 crit and 4 electric being crit, crit dmg, attack and on slot 5 would be electric damage. I use him as my main dealer being on c6 and he hits like there's no tomorrow when he has his skill on. pretty strong for an A rank tbh.

I've been experimenting with Anton and the way I play him is I leave him generating energy off field and bring him in on a chain attack activating C6 against a stunned opponent. Right now since I don't have grace I actually ignore his teamwork buff and don't use Thunder Metal set since my shock application is unreliable and instead use Puffer Electro for massive Ult damage and 12 sec of dps afterwards

Lol my guaranteed was reina, and then i went for ellen and pulled 3 antons 💀 then told my friend i just wanted grace…… i summoned again and pulled grade and Ellen 😭. Doing a solo shock team i found using grace and anton together you want them to share their time together. You can make anton main dps, but you want to get his assist off with special, then drill twice. Switch to reina and hit a lil or hit with the special then nuke anomaly with Grace until you do 2 full specials and go back to Anton. His third drill attack takes a lil while longer and it feels like your on empty on that third too. It’s more for speeding through damage. Electraboo is a nice replacement if you don’t have plugsuit

My go-to team right now is Grace-Anton-Nicole. I'm still struggling to figure out how to use Anton but the one tech i enjoy doing with him is using his quick assist after Nicole's chain/ex skill while Burst Mode is on. Strategy usually goes where I spend most of the field time with Grace applying shock and cycling chain attacks with Nicole to trigger Anton's quick assist. This actually requires less field time for Anton while still doing an absolute shit ton of damage against Shocked enemies. Plus the defense debuff from Nicole's sucky-orb boosts the quick attack strike from Burst Mode Anton even further. My only issue with the team is building up stuns to trigger chain attacks so I'm trying out better ways to charge Nicole's EX skill so I don't over rely on chain attack techs

I personally really enjoy running Neko/Piper/Lucy, especially when you're fighting Thugs because all the physical dmg just completely shreds. But I also just sort of use Piper and Lucy as a backfill for almost any single 5* that I don't have a built team for. But the Neko/Piper/Lucy gives everybody attribute and faction synergy, and you can use Neko to quickly close distances and switch back to Piper. I also noticed something watching your gameplay, and maybe it's just because you were showcasing but do you not take advantage of perfect assists? It's also possible I was just completely missing them because I'm tired and was focused on you talking, but perfect assists/dodges are what this game is really built around. Even without a team comp you can perfect assist your way through any fight because you'll never take damage. Now granted the timing is really hard to get sometimes, but they drive battle forward all the same. You get way more out of hitting perfect assists than anything else I find. Other than Ults of course.

Not entirely, You can put DPS on any slot you want. If you want to quick assist proficiently for example a DPS, always put the character you wish to quick assist to the right of the support slot. That being said, you can go something like this DPS > empty slot* > Support or Support > DPS > empty slot* or empty slot* > Support > DPS

idk the nekomata team that I find better is with piper and lucy, you get all of their team buffs through physical and bikers. while full hares is good, it just doesn't use nekomata to full potential. nekomata needs good rotations to keep up her bonus damage from dodging and entering in from assists. the rotation can be piper builds up a good amount of anomaly lucy calls in neko with assist and neko finishes the build up or start with neko go piper to finish off the anomoly then swap to lucy and call in neko. this can be used when enemies are stunned too since they can't attack neko for her to dodge. then of course finish chain attacks with lucy to call in neko

what about a team consisting of Ellen, Rina and Von Lycaon???? I personally use this team and have had no problems with hard content. If I had to explain, I would say that it is something similar to a disorder team. Ellen being the main DPS, Rina applying shock while she is off field and then Lycaon applying stun and ice anomaly. It probably doesn't make sense but I have been doing it this way and it seems to work for me so far.

Cool video, i got myself c1 grace and her S rank W-engine with my 3 S tiers from standard banner (sadly no rina yet) so im just running anton grace anby for the time being, it feels ok but im wondering about the rotation, is it better to shock first with grace and then stun with amby or the other way around? IK ideally you want the target to be both shocked and stunned before swapping to anton so he can do all his dmg. Or should i just be running lucy as a traditional support instead of anby?

Piper is likely stronger, but if you use Anton, then piper is free for your 2nd team while Anton only works well with Grace and Rina. If you only care about 1 team, use Piper, if you care about 2 teams, use Anton. Or if you just enjoy one more, use them, the power difference is very minimal if you plan on only having one team

i dont ever get these. you can build a team so many ways and get through high-end, difficult content like shiyu defense. the same people that say put a support in slot 3 when rinas whole kit is to be off field, and ive had her in first since i got her. attack to send the dolls, swap to my dps, and shred 🤷‍♂️

i get she buffs shock, but using a double support bcs i have max dupe soukaku means im just mega buffing my single dupe ellen. without a current 3rd ice that is, obviously then I'd probably run mono ice, and mono shock ngl. I just don't have the capabilities to make a devastating disorder team, bcs you need 3 different elements and a ton of anomaly buildup to get the most out of it. and most characters, usually buff other same attribute ones so...

like they want you to use the same attributes or factions, zhu yuan is the first of her kind to have a core that only needs a support unit to activate. (but ironically for the trial, they stick you with the ether pet basically saying, USE NICOLE ANYWAY 😭💀)

i think it maybe more useful to break teams down by element; "best ice team" or "best fire team" considering when going into a stage, they recommend an element not character.

I have nekomata, ellen, and koleda as far as s-rank characters go, and i got all the other current a-rank characters. best team i could make from this video is piper koleda and lucy? or was it ellen, anby, and soukaku? idk i dont really like that anby doesn't get faction bonus, i wish i had lycaon... any case though i feel like there's gotta be something better than that though, right? I've been running anton koleda and ben and that seems like a good comp to me. i think nekomata, piper and lucy still good.. at least piper can build assault fast when enemy down (or not down, but get hit a lot if vs some elite/bosses) + lucy buff i hope to see more synergy team with neko, but i doubt there's more for standard char like neko :(

That's a setup I use and it works great, I always put soukaku in the middle to have a her bookended by quick attacks since she can apply good buildup and you can get a decent amount of damage if you do the normal switch while she continues her vortex.
