THE BEST TEAMS FOR THE HUNGARIAN GP | F1 Fantasy Tips 2024

I ran a very similar lineup last week - MCL MER 2x NOR TSU GAS HUL BOT. Catching all the DNFs as usual 🙄 With 2 free transfers and a 116.3M budget, I don't have a lot of leeway to move to a 2 premium driver build. This is because I didn't roll a transfer last week because I bought GAS 😂 Probably going to transfer BOT -> MAG and roll a transfer, I'll have the best constructors, the best 2x boosted driver, and the best C-tier drivers, and it will set me up well for Spa with the top overtaking C-tier assets and 3 free transfers. But, if HAM and RUS look like they can fight for the win based off practice, I could take a -10 for MCL MER 2x HAM RUS HUL BOT SAR. That's about it, next weekend will probably be an easy decision for once 😅

I did good as a whole this race, getting the C tier drivers correct. As for now i have 126.7m and NOR/PIA/HUL/MAG/ALB with MCL/MER. Im thinking of switching PIA->RUS and ALB->OCO/GAS if Merc are still clearly better than Ferrari

@@matejakudic9891 Unbelievable team and it really goes to show how important budget building is early. Even if MCL look fast I love switching PIA to the cheaper RUS to upgrade your final "bad" C-tier in Albon to Gasly. Meanwhile I run a very similar team but have to stick Sargent in there because of budget constraints.

i was thinking Hungarong could really suit low speed cornering with Mercedes. Thinking of taking a -10 to go Lewis, Russell, Ocon, Gasly Zhou, Merc, McLaren

I know its early, but planning is key. Hear me out. Are you considering Max in instead of Lando for BEL as he might take the engine pentalty? - If you in HUN go with Russel + Lando, you only need what, a 0,4-0,5 Budget Gain in TOTAL to get Max instead of lando with a downgrade of Gasly to Zhou/Bottas. Could be a cheeky A+B Lineup with the enginge pentalty

Made it to 33:30 ! Great content as always, I will say that I had been planning to get Lewis in for this race as he is a specialist here. Obviously I wish I had gone with my gut last weekend, but I’m definitely thinking he’s worth it at the moment… for this race at least. One other point : maybe it’s a bit existential, but this is a game somewhat based on feelings,but I wouldn’t mind a team without Lando this week. He’s too much in his own head lately. May have missed this but how would you rank C tier drivers? I can get Russell in with Logan and have my pick. I'm leaning double Haas.

@@jbronnier Double HAAS + Gasly for sure currently. I slightly prefer Gasly over Mag just because Gasly is cheaper

I had both SAR & BOT & was able to get SAR out since Monaco, hopefully I’ll also be able to get BOT out soon.

Rumor was the gearbox issue was faked to save the engine as they didn't think they could finish in the points...

@@josipivancic5100 If so that is incredibly unlucky for us F1 Fantasy strategists but you kinda have to gamble on these penalties when they are given to fast cars
