My favourite protagonists are Jacob and Arno? I think? They are up there for sure. Misunderstood by mist fans, but that is because they are very complex despite surface appearance and stereotypical yet misleading views from some fans.

For Kassandra it should be her mental resilience, she sees so many of her friends and bad things through out history but she keeps pushing her self forward to fulfill her duty.

Bayek is my favourite Assassin. He’s charismatic funny and an absolute badass.

Great choice, he’s certainly in my top 3. The voice actor for him is absolutely brilliant too, best in the series in my opinion!

Shay (although a Templar) is by far the best Assassin. He has a strong moral compass, abandoning the only life he has ever known because he knows it’s the right thing. Even when he joins the Templars, he doesn’t do it to be a tyrant, but because he knows that what the Assassins are doing is fundamentally wrong. On top of this, the bitter irony of his corruption and murder of Charles Dorian, along with him being forced to kill his former friends makes him all the more tragic.

@@IronsideGeorge I grew up with ezio and altier, but neither ended up in my top favourites. Despite the fact that Brotherhood is one of my favourite games and AC1 has one of my favourite narratives. I'm odd like that, I guess. Haha.

Jacob has almost as good stealth as his sister, better combat, and just as much style. But his best trait is his dedication. Jacob is one of the only protagonists to give his life to save others. Even if he ended up living anyway.

Jacob's a personal favourite of mine, no other Assassin is like him. He's brash, doesn't think, his hand to hand combat is almost boxer like and he's just fun!

@@IronsideGeorge Well, that is all true, and yet he is a full circle for the original creative team as well. You see, Syndicate was the last ever game to feature any of the creative team from the original games, including leading writers for the first three games. Jacob was written to mirror Altier. The pair are both reckless and arrogant at times. They are very good at being an assassin, but they have to learn from their mistakes before they become true master assassins with understanding. They both have the same arch. After their main storylines are over, they both go on to be mentor and reform the assassins to their respective ages.

I think my favorite is Edward Kenway because I loved black flag and his development. Although I was also happy to play female characters. They all had their own unique story that wasn't only built around them being women. Evie, Aveline, Aya, Kassandra and Eivor. Though in my headcanon Eivor is genderfluid/enby😅
