The Best Thing About Every Character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate is the topic I am covering. Gover over each and every fighter and what is so good about them all the way from Mario to Byleth the newest dlc fighter with his reaction trailer and all. Joker, Plant, Banjo and Kaozzie, Terry, and all.
This video will tell you the best move or my favorite thing about each and every character and how to use them / why they are overpowered op or busted. The best things about every single character and how you can use them in a guide type format. This isnt a Top 5 Smash Bros Ultimate video.

Honestly, if I were to say one great thing about Pit is his offstage game and ability to get around most edgeguarding attempts pretty handily. Yeah, he's kinda meh for the most part, but if there's one thing people are terrified of about this character, it's when a good Pit player has decided to chase you offstage into the blastzone or wall you from coming back since there's pretty much dick you can do about it.

I use dark pit as one of my secondaries in tournament, and his best thing that absolutely nobody talks about is his edgegurading. He can go as far as he wants and you can't really stall your recovery longer than he can stay offstage. His n-air sending horizontally means you can gimp linear recoveries at any percent. Also your opponent has to approach you be cause you can camp with arrows and reflector. If you want to pick up pit, go into it with the mentality of going all-out for every edge guard and you will get good results. Also you don't have to struggle against annoying characters like Ness or Zelda so that's really nice

Coming from a Ridley main: The best things about Ridley is how powerful he feels, he's got some decent low % combos (down tilt->fair, down throw->nair, up throw->sweet spot up air, etc), his forward smash is one of the best in the game (it comes out really fast, his hurtbox is shifted back right before he uses it, making some approach options a VERY bad idea, can kill early), him being lighter than most heavyweights means he can escape some combos faster than other big bois (RIP K. Rool), he's very fast, faster than Bowser even, his Neutral-B is a great edge guarding tool, and the Skewer, while said to be his worst move, has a LOT more use than people say it does.

He also has a lot of 2 framing moves (Down Tilt, Down Smash, Foward Smash, Angled Down Foward Tilt), one of the best wavedashes in the game, Angled Down Up Special on the ledge is crazy, Up Tilt to Up air kills early as hell and Side B is a good mixup when your opponent shields a lot

His smash attacks are pretty good and his command grab scares me most of the time haha. I've been Pac-Man main myself for the last 6 months or so (before that it was Pokemon Trainer) and it's now getting a tiny bit more consistent.

1:39 Wow, as a Samus main (As well as a Mario Main), this is so true, but in a bad way. I’m for sure, DEFINITELY not one of those type of Samus Players. I’m not the kind that would just camp at the ledge and Spam missiles. No, I practically use my entire toolkit. I use Uncharged Charge Shot to start combos, I use Up-Tilt to start combos, I use bombs as a combo breaker and at the ledge, I use Zair to keep my opponents at a distance (U love her Zair, btw), I use Down-Tilt at the ledge to Two-Frame opponents, Up Throw at Kill percents instead of Back Throw, Neutral Air, Forward Air, or Back Air offstage to edgeguard, and Up Air juggles into Up B. Oh yeah, and Super Missile into Charge Shot to break sheilds! Trust me, If you guys play Samus the correct way, she can actually be really fun!

As a meta main, i can agree that Meta is legit a character with an unfinished moveset, neutral game needs a balance between damage and knockback. His fair kills, but needs to do more than just 2.5%, his up-b needs no fixing but up air follow ups into up b needs some configuration. He can be menacing but being a small intimidated grape with wings with the fact he needs to use all of his jumps for 20-30% aint gonna cut it

I hate to be the one telling you this, but if you are "good" with a counter and constantly rely on it then you are just going up against low level opponents. You are just relying on the opponent being an idiot. I get that a counter can come in clutch (coming from a Palu main) such as when the opponent ignorantly charges a smash attack in neutral and they die at 60% because they deserve it.

Yeah, everyone says kill power, I have no issue killing with Shiek. I main Joker and it's not rare to kill with back throw at 160 or down throw at 190, but I don't think I've ever gotten a kill above 170 as Shiek. The issue is I die from anything.

@@climhazzardenjoyer5052 Credit where credit is due, if you miss the confirm ranges and your enemy is smart enough not to get hit by a raw smash attack or jab 1 down tilt up air, it can be mad hard to get a kill, but that's not too often and isn't super uncommon even with top tiers (like Inkling and Joker), but the weight sucks far worse. Shiek weighs less than Pikachu. I never felt such fear than when I dropped a combo, got shield broken, then died to Warlock Punch at 0. Zelda puts on a Ninja Outfit and all of a sudden loses like 20 pounds.

Endershock1678 I agree with that. You have to be perfect at a mad level to play against a competent opponent with sheik. If you miss and get a hard punish you'll die crazy early, that's just dumb. I think they wanted her to be the same archetype as in smash 4 but not so op so they just made her die stupidly early in exchange. It kinda makes sense for the character, but it's still unfair

@@climhazzardenjoyer5052 I don't even think that's the issue. The issue is (yeah okay, her lightness sucks, but still) they removed a lot of her combos. When I picked up Shiek, one thing I learned is she isn't really a combo demon, a lot of her best combos often only yield 30%, aren't true, or can be DI'd out of, even to where Void doesn't really do that many combos. She went from being able to combo you off screen at early percents and having easy kill confirms and 50/50s out of throws to having combos and confirms that are near frame perfect and often require insane set up. Shiek was always light, but even with the buffs, she got nuked coming into ultimate, and without some really major buffs, she isn't ever returning to her full glory.

The best thing about Rosalina is her Luma being your literal bodyguard. Even though you got hit, luma gives additional hit. Luma has so many tricks and able to do much safe moves so you won’t have to risk a stock like dropping your luma offstage and fight them

As a banjo main it tilts me when people play him as a hard campers with neutral B. He has a ton of fun set ups. Nade > fair feels amazing Or a hard WW read. But my favorite is when you’re at the ledge facing center stage and his a Nair popping then in front of you > grab > back throw kill...you know they’re just thinking “uhhh what”

Bowser Jr can be played at a high level, plain and simple. His kill confirms are insane, he can follow you offstage to nearly anywhere, he has one of the best forward smashes in the game. The only problem is that his play style is usually predictable. He’s one of the least used players in tournament, but as far as win/loss ratio in tournaments, he’s like within the 15 highest.

As a Puff main, my favourite thing about Puff is honestly combo trains off the stage. Sure, rest combos are cool, but they're not as satisfying and freeform as comboing someone off of the stage, especially heavies with midair dair chains.

Yes.... when you play duck hunt and perfect a set up in a game where you set your can wisely, land a forward throw into it and perfectly chase the opponents in the air for a spicy 50 percent... just pressing the b button i guess. Also guess reading an opponent with clay pigeon the landing another one to a bair or dair off stage for a kill is only cause you spam that special button instead of a good condition/read

As a Ken and a Terry main, my reasons for maining them are beacuse of those combos. With Ken I love to do crazy kick combos like crazy kick into spike, and crazy kick into up air and shoryuken. With Terry I love doing Combos with power geyser, and buster wolf. Whenever I landed a combos with those moves I've always felt satisfied. The part where you said about the match up against swords or projectiles, I have to disagree with you(Ok I'll agree with you with projectiles, but that's with every fighting game) I'll always have fun against any opponent whether it has projectiles, swords, or fists.

As a fiercly loyal Marth main, I can say for my experience, going for inconsistent hitboxes consistently tippers. Like you get a good jump read and F-Smash someone with the tip above your head. I've landed that almost as much times as I have gotten the tipper hitbox in front.

i'd say pac man's fruits are similar to the shulk-like idea you had since each fruit has a unique property/stat to it, but that's not to say more weapon changing ideas are un-welcome since that's why those 2 characters are my faves to play.

what you said about villager was legendary, whether you realize it or not. Villager being a character based on having a good time and not tryharding too much literally defines animal crossing, since it's a calming game

Wolf and Roy have been my favorite characters in this game, based purely on feel. It just feels fun to play them, you get to go hard all the time, and they kill early without feeling sluggish like heavies. I really want to love sheik, but it just feels so awful when you’re clearly playing better but then die because you lost two interactions.

I love Terry I recently bought my switch 2 weeks ago and I bought the fighter pass too, I was into Street Fighter so I wanted to unlock Ken or Ryu so I could see how they work but Terry was unlocked already bc of the fighter pass, I only played one game that he’s in and it’s Capcom vs SNK 2, and I’m not that surprise that his move set makes sense but what did surprised me is how much fun is to use him. I hear from a lot of people that apparently Terry is as fun to use as I think so, so I’m glad I’m not the only one bc he is awesome. So come one come on P.S. I’m sad they didn’t add the taunt “HEY YOU” from some of his previous games he was envolved.

As a Robin main I like that you don't need to be super fast to play Robin. Your combo game is very simple but strong and you can put more emphasis on positioning than constant movement.

I am mixed, was main Young Link might remain to Byleth. Young Link - Correct mostly outside the fact that I do win most of the time. Roy - Spot on. Byleth - Well this was said prior to Byleth release. I had thought of the whole switch weapons idea too but I feel it would just be off feeling just like pokemon trainer. I love the end result they came out with. It perfectly, 100% matches my playstyle. Keeping things at a distance but not too far away allowing me to torture them from a safe position. Now if only Byleth was a bit faster, I am so used to young link kiting levels of speed.

Little Mac himself doesn't anger me much. What angers me is the people I'm playing with. Everytime I play a little Mac they always go "just throw him off stage" and I'm like yea I would if I could fucking touch him. That's the most annoying thing about little Mac to me.
