Kill streaks from MW3 2011 for me. You can have 3 different streaks sets to choose from (Assault, support, Specialist). In addition, you can have different kinds of streaks per load out. I wish they brought this feature back.

100% agree on Blackout. If it was f2p it would have taken off. Warzone 1 was amazing but the Blackout map was the GOAT. Warzone now just feels like Team Deathmatch with armor plates and you basically always have a loadout.

Cold War era of warzone was my least favorite because my duo and I refused to buy Cold War. Having to spend another 60 dollars to level up guns in Cold War just so you can have meta guns so you stood a chance in warzone was frustrating. This is also when hackers started to take over verdansk lol

I can honestly understand each of your points for each game. Although as someone who wasn't big on Warzone, I would like to mention something for at least for a couple games. Definitely at least one thing to love about each of the games though, even the bad few. Cold War, people say the zombies was easier but I genuinely didn't mind it. I liked the maps and general gameplay of Zombies, most weapons being fairly viable meant I could reasonably play however, on top of solid round based, but also Outbreak was fun, Onslaught was a fine change of pace. I always enjoy zombies, and I really liked Cold War overall, but something about that zombies and what it had to offer felt great. Vanguard, I agree on a specific gun, but for me that one was the PTRS-41. Or as Vanguard called it, the Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle. This is the first CoD where a sniper was top of my list. Something between how it felt and how little I felt towards the rest of the weapons most of the time. Not my favourite sniper in the series, but I really liked it in there.

For me it’s: COD 1: building the foundations COD 2: that Pointe Du Hoc mission COD 3: The Mace MW: changing the series for the better WAW: the gritty tone and campaign MW2: how insane the whole game was, campaign and multiplayer. BO1: the unlock system MW3: the revamped Spec-Ops. BO2: everything except Tranzit. Ghosts: I guess Riley? AW: taking risks (even though I hate the boost jumping) BO3: succeeding where AW failed IW: the campaign WW2: Shipment BO4: IX MW19: the grounded tone. BOCW: creating its own identity separate from most recent games. Vanguard: the dumb fun multiplayer MW2: Either DMZ or the campaign MW3: fixing MW2’s pacing issues BO6: having the most solid foundation a COD game has had in a decade or so.

loved medal of honour but cod did sharpen things up and smaller map base. 1st game ever online was medal of honour i spawned in with 3 teammates and they immediately asked me to guard an area standing next to a wall they then lined up and executed me as it had own team damage it was the ultimate troll i was totally embarrassed it was months later i gave it another go and got hooked.

when it comes to maps, MWII was a significant upgrade to MW19. i remember LOVING the mw2019 gameplay and HATING 99% of the maps. MWII had OK gameplay but decent maps at least. i think it’s over hated.

I can’t grasp how everyone is hating on MW2. It’s my favorite CoD and I had really great and fun times with it, especially with DMZ. The multiplayer was outstanding in my opinion too. BO6 is also really, really good and MW3 was really bad

For me, BO1 was all about the sound design. I loved the gunfire sounds but the lobby music was elite. I used to get goosebumps playing it. Oh and MW3 is the best COD ever closely followed by BO1. It took the already great MW2 and introduced the best maps of any COD and took away some of the longer campier maps. Like you did with MW3, I went back to MW3 after the hugely disappointing BO2. I think I lasted a month on BO2 before giving up. I appreciate I'm in the minority on that one though.
