a tip i've used for years is that riding astro orbiter during fireworks is a very cool experience! especially if you only want to see the fireworks not so much the show

That's a great tip, we will definitely have to give that a try! We have watched them from Big Thunder Mountain, Dumbo, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and PeopleMover(briefly!) And those have all been lots of fun too!
