Did u do a 4 wheel drive safari tour? It’s offered on our Royal Caribbean Cruise in May 2025. The excursion is offered at $139 pp but I see the same 3 hr tour as low as $45 pp… I’m curious to hear if you did the 4 wheel drive tour! Thanks!

Thanks for your kind words! Glad you found the video useful. You're right, the whole island is gorgeous! But I would recommend to stay in Ponta Delgada just because it's the biggest town so it has more restaurants and things to do in the evenings. But if you prefer to stay somewhere more remote in nature - Anywhere will be beautiful!

Dont order the cozido food dish, its so boring and plain taste, that I regret my order 4 years ago… Instead go for steak that was amazing

Thanks for the video. I'm trying to plan my trip to the Azores and Portugal's main land. Can you tell me how many nights would be a minimum stay at San Miguel? I can't stay very long if I want to see other beautiful places in Portugal. :D

I stayed 5 nights in Sao Miguel, but I would say the minimum is 3 nights. Mainland Portugal is also very beautiful, and there's a lot more to do and see, so it depends on how many days you have 😊
