The Best Tier?

After 12 years and 55k battles, I now play 99% of my battles in T6 and T7. I've been selling my T10 and T8 for the last 2-3 years to finance my gold rounds, consumables and equipment. All I care about today is MOE. Getting a 3rd mark is pretty damn hard! It's the only way I can still play this game because if I relied on team mates to win battles I'd have quit years ago.

Tiers 4-6 are the most fun for me. Maybe I'll warm up to tier 7 when more of my crews gain some experience.

If it could just be single tier matchmaking, tier 7 would be my favorite. Most of the vehicles at tier 7 aren't absurdly broken, yet they don't move around like slugs and aim like a drunken pitcher.

Tier 7 could be easily the new tier 10 and also playing with a tier 5 you didnt get the same pain.

Tier VI has a lot of WW II tanks, you still have a fair amount of mobility because few tanks have full view range, your battles will count for the vast majority of missions and events, and you don't have nearly as high level of quick blowouts that you experience at the highest tiers. You have the disadvantage of playing against tier VIII's who have CVS and a horde of OP premium tanks and it's especially difficult to play a tier VI heavy against tier VIIIs.

I stopped playing about 9 months ago, but on a few lines I zoomed to tier 10 as well. About a year before I quit I focused on tiers 5 through 7 with the very occasional tier 8 or 9 and enjoyed the game much more. Worked on 2 and 3 marking great tanks that I spent very little time in previously.

Hey Claus - "If you shoot your gun, it helps" Hot damn, the understatement of the century! Luv it mate! I suppose it would be impractical, especially on the lower volume NA server, but I'd pay a premium if I could limit my MM to just a +1/-1 spread (i.e. playing my Tier VII tank I would only see Tier VI & VIII). Of course, that would mean giving up being top tier for never being bottom tier, so maybe not the best choice. Or maybe better would be matches having only a two-tier spread, so V & VI, or VI & VII, etc. Yeah, I know - probably not nearly enough players to support that even if WG thought they could make money on it. Good show tier notwithstanding. Definitely keep up these lower-tier matches.

I like tier 5. You don't get the plethora of premium tanks from tier 8+. My Wolverine was bottom tier and got 8 kills, including an M10 RBFM that thought he could scoot by, not realizing I had the derp gun.

Those HP numbers are so low on this tier. Ack! Lower tier's are where the real players learn to survive. I was pretty much stuck there until I started watching Claus. Now I play those tiers for fun. Thanks again Claus.

I have had no end of ridiculous MM and thus results in the past week. It has been so bad, I can only play my low tier tanks to grind for credits. Any time I play my higher tier, I lose and lose a heck of a lot of credits. I am close to giving up the game. It simply is not fun.

The purpose of the Rudy running away was to disengage, get some distance and find a better angle of attack, of course it didn't really matter because any idiot can kill a tier 6 in a tier 8, there's no real skill, a tier 6 killing a tier 8 is skill, of course tho being realistic it also requires a lot of luck as well, like being ignored by the top tier tanks and farming them as they focus on your team mates, going in head first against a tank 2 tiers higher than you and hoping for the best is never a good plan tho had he not wasted all hes gold rounds on a afk tank he would have had a better chance against the tier 8 at the end, than again how was he suppose to know he was going to end up fighting a tier 8 at the end by himself, that's the thing about humans, we all make mistakes but hopefully he learnt something from it unlike some idiots who do the same thing over and over again expecting a different result and learning nothing from the mistakes they made

I left WOT 5 years ago because of rigged games, came back yesterday to play a couple of game in hope the game been fixed, after the warm up games against AI I played 5 games lost a five 3-15 you know it then your shoot hit (460 pen from my Jag panzer E 100) and do zero damage even from point blank in side of an IS 7.. so I guess match are still rigged like in the old days.. NOT FOR ME IM OUT AGAIN

Note;- JPzr E100 has a lot of bad/bugged RNG shots. It was God Tier for penetration, but a JPzr E100 did exactly the same to an IS7 in another KZbinrs vid. They bounce strangely off tanks all the time. Couple bounced off the rear of my tanks. Their gold rounds seems to be the worst, it has such a narrow angle of penetration. Cynic in me says WG doesn't want players to have a tech tree tank that will beat their new, expensive premium tanks. Don't blame you for quitting, I left 3 times, came back. It wasn't any better, actually worse as more pay to win each time. WG changed the game from how it was. I finally left for good.

I'm surprised you haven't featured the VK 28.01 10.5, my favorite tank at tier VI. It's not a great scout and you wont do 10k dmg with it , but popping out of bushes and shooting a higher tier stat queen up the rear end for 400 hp just makes me giggle. You know you like it like that!
