The idea went right over your head 😅 he was making a clear distinction between depravation and satisfaction, and yes, people often overlook this. It’s very important to consider when you ask for reviews

There is consistent internal logic to the alternative, one might believe that someone would be their most willing to say yes (IE. Do a favor) when they are their most happy since people tend to give away money more freely when happy. And yea, you will sometimes have that be a result, but you’ll get *better* results with this way. These types of videos aren’t for people who aren’t doing anything right, but for those who could be doing it *better*

Thank you for this 🙌 I have a habit of upselling another service AFTER completing their first service. I was over here thinking that their satisfaction after the service INCREASED odds of up-selling a second service.🤦‍♂️ This makes a lot more sense though

Alex Hormozi explains that you should sell a product when someone really wants it. This is before they have it. People talk about how great it is after they enjoy it. Timing is key!

People are clowning on him, but this is genuinely a huge factor. For example, a lot of restaurants that don't go for classy but cashflow (pizza joint or whatever) have you order dessert and your meal. Why? Because you're probably more interested in cheesecake when you're staving than after 4 slices of pizza.

You are wrong on this one. The best moment to ask for a testimonial is the 2nd time the customer comes in and has not eaten yet. Directly afterwards he'll be full and not energetic since the blood will be in his stomach. Additionally you don't know if he even really liked it. 2nd time he comes in you know he liked it.

I think it’s called marginal utility value. The first bite or first product is always the best and every other is sequential inferior.

He explained marginal utility in even more complex terms. Made a simple complex difficult. Most of this guys stuff is that way to be honest. I guess if you knew nothing about it to begin with it may be a decent image to attach to the concept but he really just hucked buzzwords at us. Really just a dude dumbing down already simple concepts while trying to sound knowledgeable and trustworthy.
