For me the Fission Timelapse (161g and 165g) is much straighter and easier disc to throw but it turns over in headwind while my Destroyers were just doing what the Destroyer does. So I would suggest you to avoid the lightest ones unless you're sure about your needs. I think DD3 is pretty nice substitute (although a bit flippy sometimes, but that means we're in the ballpark) and Paradigm (a bit easier) are good alternatives, maybe even DD1 and/or the new Älva. I was looking for something a bit less beefy as Destroyer, and there's Wraiths, Graces etc. too, but not quite. Next I'll test Supreme Trespass and a bit lighter Opto Flow. Also, try lighter Destroyers. There's some under 170g. And also beating in the discs helps.

Where did you get a light weight halo destroyer? I've never seen those in light weights

lightweight doesn't mean understable. Just easier to get up to speed .

You consistently threw the destroyer higher than the Time-Lapse. All but one of your Time-Lapse throws were low.

Seems dumb that everyone wants an overstable disc to fly like an understable disc. My tilt is trash because it won't flip up

I get that for sure. But I do think there’s something to say about a overstable mold that flys beat in. I think a lot of peoples “bomber” discs are overstable molds that have been beaten in overtime to have the perfect flight. “Perfect flight” is all different depending on players. Whether or not light weight discs still gives you that same flight, I don’t know. But I think that’s why people like the light weight stuff. No one expects a tilt to fly far at least I hope not. I believe we all make a certain expectation for a disc before throwing it, if it doesn’t meet that expectation we say it’s trash or we find a different use for it.

@ChasinChains I chose tilt on purpose because if you say that a destroyer won't flip up for you, then the fan boys come out of the woodwork because they bought a x run or x plastic destroyer that flipped for them and you just might not have enough snap. The other possibility that eludes this group of women is that the disc they bought is not flying like a destroyer should and flys more like a mamba that would much more fit their feminine throws
