The BEST tips for using your backpack sprayer effectively!!

Spraying products can be intimidating but it doesn't have to be. Here's the video I wish I watched before using a backpack sprayer for the first time!

Nick could you do a how to assemble this sprayer? I’m a newb the instructions with the pack are rubbish

1. Most backpack sprayers can be converted from right handed to left handed ... it is worthwhile doing if you struggle with a right handed kit. 2. Do not overfill; although my pack can take 15L, I struggle if I fill it over 10L. Adjust straps for confort. 3. Clear the area of toys, hoses, overhanging plants before spraying; if you lean over to move something with the backpack on, then spray may leak out of the top bung and run down your back.

Like you i have a big back yard, probably near 1500sqm and it needs the top scraped off, new soil, then new grass grown. Prior to this, i think i should kill as many weeds as i can to help reduce the problem when the new lawn is growing. I've just sprayed an area with weed and feed which seems to have started to work, it's been between one and two weeks. I need to mow again and then i thought I'd do another area. My Q, is. Do you think this stuff works? for me it's an easy option, because i don't have a big sprayer, i have a small 8l silvan shoulder sprayer. very small and would take weeks to do the entire area. Do i keep using it? or not?

If you can afford it, I'd highly recommend a big push sprayer like I've got for my back lawn. I use 22L on 500m2 out there and it's super handy
