I'm currently doing a similar strategy with the green skeletons that spawns with the "altar" unit in act 2. In a tomb, there are 4 of them that spawns 4 skeletons each. The problem with this strategy is that the game still considers that there are corpses on the ground, so the fps drops constantly until the game crashes. I'm pretty sure it would be the same with the V monster, so you can't just afk farm those all night. It's pretty easy for doing a few minutes while doing other stuff, but it's not consistent.

You are correct, it takes me about 25 minutes of killing V to drop my fps down to 6 fps from 75, i haven't tried to take it further to see when it will crash! The good thing is that if you lure V a bit away from the 1st fighting area, you can get your fps instantly to maximum and keep killing it away from the dead bodies of the previous area!

Wow I've rarely done this secret passage since anniversary edition was released... I used to do a similar thing in the great Sphinx back in the day to farm xp. In immortal throne, the mummies that would spawn from the monoliths in the boss room with 4 statues would spawn at the exact same spot the very second it's killed. This is millions of times better and such a useful hack!

That’s an awesome tip! I never got into farming electrum because it always seemed to give so little per kill compared to the price of the orbs. But this would make it much easier to get some cool items! Might have to reinstall TQ just to try this :)

Having attack dmg converted to health would be an easy way to farm automatically on this build

Good idea, this "boss" in fact does not have any physical resist, nor armor.. Unfortunately, it has 50% dodge. As someone else pointed out, the game does not unload entities after death, so you will get slideshow FPS which means you have to move out of the area, or reload the game. I recommend this method over the the altars in Act 2. Not only does V give more electrum because it's Act 4, it's also a champion monster. More points overall per kill, less entities needed. Actually, you've given me an idea to make a alternative work around build, only to kill this monster, since dodge only affects melee, though I don't know if I could kill it one hit with ranged or spells! Critical hits are super strong

If it takes a long time to kill a monster on legendary difficulty, it's worth switching to normal/epic. The faster kill compensates for the lower number of points and you can have one item with damage to health conversion and you can spam.

this is an exploit and that kind of abuse has been done countless times by various "smart" asses before ..
