Reed has been a severe weather expert for over 15 years.. he knows where to and where not to put his team so they can observe a tornado.. trust me, that’s the last guy that would get you killed or hurt on a storm chase.. that being said there are incidents which are just completely out of your control.. like the El Reno tornado in 2013 which killed the Twistex team.. that’s also the widest tornado in history at 2.7 miles..

That's some of the best footage I've seen of this tornado! I was watching Reed's livestream when they intercepted it. I really want to know if the 2 cars that passed the dominator right before it was swallowed by that thing are chasers. If they are, I really want to see their footage! I Love your videos and you kinda remind me Pecos Hank and his gorgeous video footage and incredible photography. You have obviously learned a lot from the years you've spent storm chasing with your father from an young age. Keep up your amazing work and gorgeous videos while also staying safe. Not everyone can afford to build a dominator style vehicle that can withstand closer contact with a tornado. Even Reed and his team have suffered damage to their vehicles because nothing is completely tornado proof.

Wow, you had an awesome view of the initial tornado from the north! You passed us at 4:33 in the silver Rav 4. We had started down south of Spalding and watched the initial rope thinking that was the main tornado. We then went up the same dirt road into Spaling and cut west of 91. Great Footage! -Andrew SPC
