Wow, just the editing alone is phenomenal! It feels like I'm watching a TV show (which is a good thing) it is THAT professional! I also really liked hearing and seeing your guy's favorite shops in Tokyo, can't wait for the next video/episode in this series!!

Great video!! Now I want to go back to Tokyo even more 🙀 We missed Super Potato in april, but we got to see plenty of retro consoles and games in the various Mandarake we went to. Tokyo wasn’t my favourite part of our trip, but I really enjoyed all the little shops scattered around the city.

I live 10 min from this store, it's usually slightly cheaper than Akiba, and even the second hand goods as well (quite common for Japanese to charge 90%-300% of original price when it's second hand...). However, always double check goods on amazon before buying, most items will be available on amazon at the same price, or cheaper.

...also check out Toy Cats just a few minutes on the Chuo Line from Koenji/Nakano in Kichijoji. It's underground and features an awesome selection of vintage and newer toys. The shop specializes in (but not limited to) gashapon, Godzilla, Star Wars, Dragon Ball, Microman / Micronauts and Henshin Cyborg. The owner is definitely the most friendly of all the toy shops I've ever been too, plus he speaks English is pretty much the only toy shop in Tokyo that will make amazing bundle deals and negotiate with you. Tell him I sent ya and he'll probably throw in a free beer as well ;)

I hit up Nakano Broadway every week and always find something awesome. I'm also good friends with the owner of 2000 Toys, and often do a lot of trades with him and help him import toys from the USA. Did you guys check out the smaller shop down the street from it called DRODD? It's similar, but a quarter of the size and specializes in vintage bootlegs. The owner of DRODD and the manager of 2000 Toys often have collaborative "street sales" where they pull some of their coolest stuff out into the street in front of 2000 Toys and have offer them for crazy discounts.

I have heard been to Japan, but I wish I could go to 2000 Toys because I like to collect Vintage American Toys:)!! However, I did see on BeccasToys the You Tuber and her Husband explore many awesome Toy Stores in Japan and Japan still has their Toys R Us, unlike here in America. I also like those Gachapon Capsule Toys which remind me of American Bubble Gum Machine Toys, except the Gachapon Toys are much better quality. I also got familiar with the Ufufy Plush Toys and the Pom-Pom Purin Plush Toys through BeccasToys trip to Japan. I wish America had the selection of Toy Stores as much as I wish America had Vintage Toy Stores like 2000 Toys:). Awesome, video:).
