Assalamoalaikum ! I am Dr Ijaz Ahmad , 73 year old . I an CKD patient and under your treatment . I visited your clinic 2 weeks ago . At that time my creatinine was 1.33 and eGfr 52 and I have got my RFT and LFT done today and my creatinine is more than 1.60 and eGfr 42 in just 20 days . Please advise what should I do ? Please treat this as urgent because the condition is worsening very fast .

It's always said to find out the reason of Ckd...but in reality when we go to nephrologist seldom biopsy is asked fr...is not biopsy needed in all cases if creatinine 1.40-1.50 like that?...do the doctors wait for the advancement of creatinine to ask for biopsy ?what's the actual criteria?with moderate creatinine n protein in urine biopsy not needed to know the reason?
