I love my authority reel and use it mainly in the surf because of the water sealing and it hasn’t let me down . The only negative thing I can say about it is you can’t spool it all the way to the lip with braid because you get wind knots . If fishing of rocks or beach I use a Shimano twin power which you can feel to the rim and get no wind knots and can cast way further than the penn

I've got 3500&8500HS it will not disappointed you,cause it worths. when you campare with SAME LEVEL DAIWA or SHIMANO REEL IT JUST COST MORE THAN YOU THINK

nah~for me its totally different,cause the only one thing for mantainance is just wash them with fresh waterafter use..when using other especially daiwa reel i just worry about damage even a little scrap.fk them away~hahaha @@theoccasionalangler6956

I do absolutely love bass to eat… one of my favourite fish… but I find it hard to kill them , so I have made a pact with myself only to take ones that get injured. I have had well over 100 bass this season and only taken 3!

We don’t get fresh water bass species in the uk. These are genetically known as sea bass in the uk

I swapped it for another reel, they are quite pricy! I do fish a lot these days now I don’t commute to work, running a fishing channel and being a sponsored angler I’m in deep!

Bass reels are garbage, Penn reels are awesome
