Movies changed to be just a product...Cost/income/profit with less creativity/risk. Just a result of corporate committees, advertising, sales channel etc. Btw. Do you remember a time when you vere excited with f.e. new Honda Civic or new anything going to be on the market?

Get a semi old movie everyone likes, make the same movie again, with more/worse cgi add an extra female lead, throw in a black character (preferably lesbian or gaey). Replace character development with more/worse cgi, rinse and repeat at nausium

Give it a bit. Ai will use a shit book, rewrite it entirely change characters and all including entire synopsis and it’ll be a hit. Originality peaked in the 80-90s, lately it’s a regurgitation after regurgitation by desperate film companies for a hit. Most flop or have the money to take an L and keep going. Which leads me to Disney, the movies that made Disney famous have been revamped or reanimated or live action. Disney hit its peak with avengers end game. They free falling now.

Another Alien movie, another Dracula, another Dead Pool!Are Hollywood producers blind to the fact that people are unbelievably tired of sequels (prequels, origin stories, reimagining, etc)?!Thank God Stephen Spielberg has ET protected under lock and key, so nobody can ever make a sequel to it! More films should have these types of restrictions. I mean, I couldn’t imagine a Schindler’s List - Part Two could you?
