The best thing about Mizunos, which many other boots don't have is the higher toebox so my toes don't pop out of the upper like with many other generic brands.

I have pretty high big toe when my nail coming through (or touching at least) the upper of every shoe I wear. In your opinion, do you think the toe box in this adidas boot would be as high as the Mizuno's you're talking about? :)

Given the comparison you made between the pairs, I need to point out the following (these are just my opinions BTW) : > The COPA Gloros are more affordable compared to the Icons, but I'm not a fan of the lacing system in place because the strap may rip (boots compromised), and also doesn't look appealing to me. Traditional (you could ever regard it as boring) is better for me > While NB 442 is cheaper and has a K-leather upper, I've come across a good number of customer complaints about its workmanship. The people who bought it would notice the boots' sole plate and body separating after only a couple of weeks of fair use; which is simply not acceptable at all, given the $135 price tag

@@jfreeko copa icon, but maximus feels better. Beware the ITA versions have tighter toebox volume so i sent them back and grabbed 2 colors of non-ita elites. I like how their inner foot is also padded, my short passes are very consistent with these. Elites also have knit so they dont dig into my ankles like the ITA versions do. Though the side of the first pair started seperating quickly which is a shame. Indoor brasil salas are also worth looking at.

In the F50 AG video you said the studs were as long as the FG version. I have the F50 Messi and I've found the studs too be too long for AG use, I'll need to trim them down. Are the studs on here shorter or has your opinion changed about using these on AG? They do look too long and aggressive

It’s certainly more of an FG stud pattern than it is an AG one. On a good AG surface, it’s fine. On a shallower, cheaper one, it’s not ideal, but very few AG stud patterns are to be honest.

There’s no actual ankle support being provided by a mid-cut boots. The quality of the fit and the proper stud pattern for the playing surface is what will ultimately be the most “supportive”. Taping your ankles would also help.

These feel a little more traditional overall and are also a little lighter. They’re both high quality leather boots, so they have a similar overall feel in that regard. It’s more so a case of a bunch of small differences that ultimately separate them in terms of experience. Both great, just depends on what you want/like

They're definitely not as soft as those where, but I will say that I much prefer the fit of the Icon 2. The adiPure IV SL as a concept was amazing, but I was never a big fan of the shaping and overall fit. At least for me.

In some aspects, yes. In others, no. Both leather boots obviously, but with different characteristics outside of both having soft, padded uppers. Copa Pure 3 Elite is also $250 compared to the Icon 2 at $180

Are we sure the Copa Mundials are still k-leather? With the noticeable difference in leather quality for the mundial goals, who's to say the copa mundials are still kangaroo? First con may not be too much of a con no?

According to Adidas, that's still the case. You have to keep in mind that the Mundial Goal is not made in Germany like the Mundial, so it's very likely that they're sourcing different materials for the boots. Not all kangaroo leather is equal.
