I remember I got the 54mm guhong, which is smaller than I like I like 55 or 56 more, I bought it for oh... and then I started using it as my main before even setting it up over my set up TV3. So good.

You mentioned the slice capability and I know a cube that does it very well. I'd recommend you try out the MoYu GTS3 M, if you haven't already. Yes this cube is old, but in my opinion, it's held up and is still even on the same level as some newer cubes like the Tornado V3. The ridged pieces on the GTS3 allow for easier grip for for reversed ring-finger tricks like D moves and M moves. It's my 3BLD main for the same reasons I'd expect a Roux solver to like it. Definitely try it out if you haven't already (Yes, I will FOREVER Promote this cube because I love it so much lol).

Hey I saw that you are practicing roux so I think that the Wrm 2021 maglev is also a good cube for roux since it makes slice moves and basically any hard finger tricks easy to do.

Imma be honest, I love the feel of the GuHong Pro, it's super satisfying, but in my opinion it's quite inferior as a budget cube compared to the rs3m v5 (stansard). Even having a ball core, the GuHong Pro has always just felt super cheap, and whilst it's M slices are to die for, it feels quite janky and locky with most of my algs. Just feels as cheap as it is, whilst rs3m v5 feels semi-premium with slightly more solid plastic

What's a truly premium performance based cube?
@FriskyPotat0
@FriskyPotat0 4 ай бұрын
@@rizzwan-42069 Well if I were to mention one it’s the GAN12(UV). It truly feels the most premium to me plastic wise, and it performs incredibly well both with slower and faster turning. Something unique to the GAN12 is that you can feel the piece to piece contact even with a full lube setup and the cube being broken in. Personally I love this, because it’s not a distracting amount, but it is just enough tactility and feedback so that when you’re turning really fast (say in PLL) you still feel each turn. In my experience, it’s the only cube that gives that much feedback at those faster speeds, and this leads me to what could be considered the one downside, which is that it can lock up somewhat harshly BUT I lock up way less on it compared to a silkier/smoother cube like the wrm v9 or ys3m because it’s tactility tends to encourage and assist more accurate turning. It’s a 56mm puzzle though, so if you’ve smaller hands, I would recommend the Ys3m UV BC if you want something very controllable, fast and still premium feeling, wrm v9 20 mag BC if you want a bubbly, smooth and forgiving cube with comfortable magnet strength (og wrm v9 has ridiculously strong magnets). tv3 standard (I think is 56mm) if you want a premium feeling cube that’s a bit blocky but nicely controllable (I would recommend this if you really like how springs feel over maglev). I want to recommend the wrm v10 but mine hasn’t arrived yet, so I’ll get back to you. Going off other reviews though, it’s a blend of aspects from the GAN12, wrm v9 and rs3m v5, so could well be the best premium cube out there (ignoring the stupidly priced super weilong). The v10 is 55.5mm, so a nice middle ground. Again, to me the gan12 is certainly the most “premium” feeling cube; I find particularly when comparing it to moyu cubes, it just feels more thought out engineering wise and mechanically satisfying at high tps
@FriskyPotat0
@FriskyPotat0 4 ай бұрын
Still this is all personal preference, and a lot of people still love the tv3 over gan cubes which may be due to it’s muted, somewhat softer feel compared to Gan’s sharpish tactility. That being said, I really still think the plastic feel of the gan12 (alongwith the UV version being good; tv3’s UV version is maglev only and tv3 maglev is almost universally disliked) and it’s build quality are just properly premium, if premium is what you’re specifically going for

You're doing viewers a disservice by recommending the spring version just because it's cheaper. A good cube is a good cube. You can get maglev and uv coated for $20. Your griping over $3. I hate when reviewers put down a better cube that people would enjoy just because of the price. You get what you pay for. It's a better cube. Just invest in your hobby.
