I love that Peter Green record. They threw all conventions to to the wind. I was also thinking Bitches Brew the first time I heard it. What an experimental trip.

Cool Vid my friend! Happy New Year to you Sir! Hope you had an awesome weekend! By the looks of things you had a great year in vinyl! Really didn’t we all tho? I mean I feel like I could’ve gotten half the LPs I picked up and could still say it was a killer year! Honestly some of these albums I don’t know and some I’m likely not interested in but I do enjoy watching you operate onscreen! LoL! You are still the best my friend! The best vinyl of all time: 1 Forever Changes - Love 2 Astral Weeks - Van Morrison 3 Never Mind the Bollocks - The Sex Pistols 4 This Years Model - Elvis Costello 5 Harvest - Neil Young 6 The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust - David Bowie 7 Pet Sounds - Beach Boys 8 Tim - The Replacements 9 Revolver - Beatles 9 Let it Be - The Replacements. So much better than the Beatles "Let it Be" 10 Buffalo Springfield Again - Buffalo Springfield. You can reverse the order and put this first. no ordre Get Happy! Elvis Costello and the Attractions Blonde on Blonde - Bob Dylan The Doors - The Doors The X Album - Lloyd Cole Zuma - Neil Young Pretenders - The Pretenders Are you Experienced - Jimi Hendrix Core - Stone Temple Pilots Mary Wells Greatest Hits. Smokey wrote most of these songs and they are every bit as good as the ones for of the Miracles Avalon - Roxy Music Squeezing Out Sparks or Heat Treatment - Graham Parker Eponymous - R.E.M. Talk Talk Talk - The Psychedelic Furs Quicksilver Messenger Service Happy Trails Lloyd Cole - Don't get weird on me babe A Hard Days Night - The Beatles Doolittle - The Pixies Buzzcocks - Singles Going Steady Having A Rave Up! The Yardbirds Yankee Foxtrot Hotel - Wilco Paul Westerberg - 14 songs Yo La Tengo - some album, I really didn't listen to many albums Banana album - Velvet Underground and Nico Making Movies - Dire Straits Shazam - The Move Best music video .. much better than The Last Waltz. Neil Young's "Live Rust" does all of his hits and non-hits and better versions of a few songs than the originals. Such as "Welfare Mothers". My least favorite records of all time that are popular and I don't like them at all. Abbey Road - The Beatles The White Album - Beatles .. Yes I do love the Beatles just not these last two records Exile on Main St. - The Rolling Stones Like the Stones work until 1970 OK Computer - Radiohead Anything by Pink Floyd I particularly hate - The Wall (their best songs are Money and Comfortably Numb. This list could go on but I guess I'm losing all credibility.

I don’t own an ultrasonic bath. It was used historically by jewelers and medical for cleaning and sterilisation of stainless steel and gems. Vinyl is soft. Those exploding bubbles. Has anyone determined if the power of the bath against the smallest crevices of the record causes any changes whatsoever? Worth an inquiry to your surgeon friend and/or archivist?

Nice, looking for that Mannix, had some of Lalo's best of sorta things, also his early Bossa stuff thats great, Steely Dan really only took the feel and two notes to make a totally different song but it's jazz man, the evolution of themes, styles and rhythm ....it's like....jazz, man. Have all Camper releases, saw them a lot in the '90s and Cracker too, saw Sonic Youth Daydream Nation tour, took my ears two days to recover, Also will be seeking out Sleeps with Angels, had to drop the Archive but I want the LP anyway, good finds Happy Christmas and I heard some where to ring out the old, ring in the new, cheers and thanks again for the invaluable service you provide....seriously!

@@mazzysmusic Norman I have to disagree with your take on the Peter Green LP... you call it 'jammy' but there are pre-prepared bits, and then there are instant composition things. There are bits where he is jamming, but that's on every rock album of that era. The only think that comes anywhere close to 'Albatross' is maybe the last cut, and even that has a different vibe. Great LP though, good for you for showing it.

@@mazzysmusic I wouldn't doubt the editing, you can hear where a lot of edits are. That's how Crosby's 'If I Could.....LP was done, and many others. The Payne piano solo in 'Dixie Chicken' on Waiting for Columbus was edited to death. You can really hear where the edits are on that one
