Guys something I completely forgot about as I was doing research for the next typings series was that for SwSh I forgot about Urshifu Rapid Strike. So use that for SwSh replace one of the mons. Honestly, Lanturn should be replaced.

Ludicolo in Hoenn: Yes I am aware its version exclusive but seriously pretty helpful, even if you start with Mudkip or Treecko Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon: If you use Island Scan you can get Marshtomp. Even if you start with Popplio, Swampert and Primariana can work very well together. And Paldea some good Water Mons I recommend are: Of course the Quaxly line, since even though Quaquaval is not flying type, it still learns Flying type moves to cover its weakness to Grass, also other good Water types in that game are Azumarill, Gastrodon, Gyarados, and even the new ones such as Veluza (Water/Psychic), and Palafin's hero form

It also has access to Grass Knot, Shadow Claw, Brick Break and Blizzard. Honestly, I’ve had better luck using it over Samurott.

Two small notes: in BW2, you can't get the Blizzard TM until Lacunosa Town, well after Burgh. You're just gonna have to hit him with Dewott Fury Cutters and max happiness Azumarill Returns until you win. He might actually be easier in Challenge Mode since he drops the Swadloon for Shelmet and Karrablast. You can use Island Scan to catch a level 17 Marshtomp on Brooklet Hill in USUM. Swampert is obviously much better than Whiscash, so I'd go for that instead. Other than that, these teams are pretty much what I'd use and it's cool that my suggestion for the bug type for the next entry seems to have won!

You should do a video on choosing one single type for a mono team for every game based on the enemies and pokemon available. For example,a mono psychic team would do well on gen 1 and you have enough picks for a full team,so psychic for gen 1.

Yeah, no Tail Glow or Hydration Rest strats in LoA. Sure, sleeps gone, but it’s basically like Paralysis, but you take more damage in snow.

Gyarados was my Hoenn HM hoarder and still some use in battle: Surf Dive Waterfall Strength. Got to say that the Tera type gimmick in SV is opening the gameplay massively. Any pokemon can be any type, you can pull unexpected tricks like never before.

Gyarados and a lot of stone evolutions have been kinda broken in the past 2 generations with "move relearning". Getting a ton to higher level moves and coverage super early. Had a level 7 Ninetails carry me through Sw/Sh easily.

In the first two generations or Kanto or Johto games if I didn't pick the water starter my choice was either Vaporeon on Gyarados buti always felt that the first 3 gens when playing through them had some of the best choices for playing through the games as far as depth was concerned. Although gen 5 comes close because of only having the option of trying new options in Black and White which made early playthroughs a bit more exciting.

With Hoenn, even the likes of Pelipper, Sharpedo, Whiscash (if you for some reason aren't using Swampert), Crawdaunt, Milotic and Walrein are still great choices. While I also could've said Wailord, it's lack of power and unideal speed is what lets it down.

Dump the starter, use Raticate, Persian and Muk as a reference to their Alolan forms, Arbok because it looks evil, Golbat because it lives in dark areas and Hypno because it abducts children With steel it's a bit tougher to decide... maybe Blastoise because of the cannons, Onix, Scyther and Magneton as a reference to getting the steel type or a steel type evolution, maybe Porygon because it is digital (?) Idk...

A lot of water types kinda suck, so it's not surprising. Seaking, Dewgong, Corsola, Luvdisc, Lumineon, Basculin, Clawitzer... A lot of water types are just worse versions of others or outright bad, so it makes sense that the good ones show up often.
