Cool conversation for sure but not sure I'd rank any of those above the other, they are all waves of a lifetime, I have watched from the channel and video does it no justice at all, this wave is a freak of mother nature, it felt like sitting in a paddock and watching tornadoes roll by.... Some memorable ones would have to include Damien martins massive closeout wipeout. The Hughes roll in is even more significant after watching that at the Draw premiere and the reaction it got. Hardys one arguably best paddle wave considering it hadn’t been done previously and he picked a huge wedge

Like I say Australians and anyone else that surfs a wave like that are crazy, and what gets me is how can you concentrate on the surf when quit possibly there might be one of those big scary submarines with the white bellies swimming underneath you, takes massive guts to say the least.
