The best way to begin a painting is to just start! That might sound a little simple, but truly, just pull out the paint, add some collage paper and allow the beauty, freedom, and creative moment carry you away. It's so therapeutic and good for your soul.

Over the years a blank page has gone from white and intimidating to inviting and full of possibilities. I love working in a journal, because if it doesn't turn out... just turn the page. I often come back to pages I didn't like later on and tweak them or discover they are not as bad as I thought.

I work the same way but I'm becoming frustrated and bored with my work.When covid started, I discovered sponge stampers in round shapes.I became obsessed with stamping circles all over the place.They became overlapping bubbles and looked really cool.It seemed like I was creating microscopic representations of the covid-19 virus.Its hard to look at those now though.I eventually added color and pattern on top and cut up some to use in collages.I love your stencils.I need to find or make some better stencils.I enjoyed watching you create this.Thank you.

@@FroyleArt I'm scarily obsessed with leaves at the moment I'm trying different methods of printing and stenciling with them.Printing with gold paint on black paper has been the most attractive.I kind of play with different ideas because I do art therapy with memory care people and I'm continually attempting to find ideas that are successful with them.Its a challenge for sure
