In theory, if I just used V1 Kaido no fc no crewmates, would that be optimal if I only cared about Himes?

I wouldn't recommend it, but if you just want himes then that will work. You don't even need to run fc. Captain kaido is enough and will be faster

Unfortunately there isn't one team that beats all in this game.. but there are some captains that boost all units in the game like Gol D Roger that you could use to beat every piece of content in the game.

Just starting this game again and I’m wondering why does it say no applicable materials when I try to use my boiled lobsters, tomes, or manuals for anything ?

You are likely out of berries. Play the Usopp quest I show in the vid and sell the turtles you get.

Yeah, but he can be replaced by any unit as a support in the game. He basically does nothing

How do you get 60k exp? I'm using two Marco CA and whale shark ship and I'm only getting 38k

Sorry this is late bro. The reason is because you're using the Whale Sharks shop. You have to use the Hoe ship since it gives much more exp.

Even then, the exp won't be as much as in this video. At the time of recording, the event ship was out which gives the most exp possible. It only comes out during anniversaries

How are your specials maxed instantly?

Characters have a potential ability that allows specials to be reduced at the start of the quest. Make sure they're maxed, and that they're limit broken (to unlock the potentials)

@@Slxshiee in the bottom right corner of the character artwork there's 0-3 circle icons (2-3 usually). You can click on them to see what abilities they give. You unlock these abilities by limit breaking a character. These abilities are started at lv 1 and can be upgraded to 5 with either tablets or dupes of the character One of these abilities is to "reduce character's special charge" which reduces their special cool down by a specified amount of turns at the beginning of the quest
