Today we are trying to carry volatile nitroglycerin while being shot at by killer robots. ABOUT THIS GAME
Plan the perfect heist using creative problem solving, brute force, and everything around you. Teardown features a fully destructible and truly interactive environment where player freedom and emergent gameplay are the driving mechanics.
Tear down walls with explosives or vehicles to create shortcuts no one thought was possible. Stack objects, build structures, or use floating objects to your advantage. Take your time to create the most efficient path through the level and get ready to run.
The moment you pick up your first target, an alarm goes off, and the heat is on. Run, jump, drive, slingshot, do whatever you need to collect all of the targets, and escape before security arrives.

Campaign
With your company pressured by increasing debt, you start accepting work from some more or less shady individuals. Soon you are knee-deep in a murky soup of revenge, betrayal, and insurance fraud. Beginning with some more or less legitimate assignments, you soon find yourself stealing cars, demolishing buildings, blowing up safes, and more. Upgrade your expanding arsenal of tools by searching for hidden valuables scattered around the environments.
Sandbox
Play around in the various environments with the tools you have unlocked. In this mode you have unlimited resources and an abundance of vehicles. No pressure, just pleasure.

Another fun tactic to counter the bots is the Metal Gear box strat. Yup, you can actually just break open a box, hide within it, with your feet poking out from underneath, and walk around unnoticed as a box.

Imagine positioning 6 high tech guard robots to protect your security research company buildings only for you to realize the next morning that not only have you been robbed but 4 of the robots are at the bottom of the lake, 1 has his legs stuck in a grating, and the last functioning robot is charred.

I love how Scrapman just casually picks up a valuable whilst there are huge rocket launcher holes in the floor that wound kill if he fell in and right next to it the whole thing is on fire.

Scrapman: throws robots into water to kill them, and plans a path for timed missions. Also Scrapman:this high explosive material that explodes at any inconvenience "is blocked by an lock, BUT we have our handy dandy blowtorch!" BOOM (18:45 - 18:52)

You should try to make a sling shot in sand box with the cables, I’ve seen telephone pole ones but they never quite make it that far on the other hand cables might do it

A small Tipp for the robots: If you shoot them with your gun, shotgun or rifle, they for a moment stop shooting and have to readjust. This allows you to lead them somewhere without constantly being shot at. This is especially usefull for the rocket-launching robots.

I feel like there needs to be a "research" episode after the campaign is finished to experiment with the bots and new tools. Forklifts seem to be abundant during bot missions, I wonder if you could pin one to a wall and leave them

Fun fact: Nitroglycerin is very unstable liquid, so in real life if you drop bottle of nitroglycerin from about 3 meters it would explode. The more you know.

Scrap man - make a catapult in teardown out of wood planks, try to make it like a seesaw where you jump on one end and the other end comes up. (Just a thought, might be a cool thing to do?) Also, I love your videos and have watched them for a while now! Keep up the great work!

You could also put some thrusters onto the bots and make them fly around, possibly into the water.
