I got drift button on my air roll button, so if I hold it i start air rolling mid drift, can you bind two buttons for the same input?

Don't use same buttons. I recommend using LT/L2 for air roll and O/B for drift. That's much easier to handle. Air roll and break will be on the same input. Try it out.

I am very confused how to get that small of a jump input. Is it just a really quick roll and subsequent jump that is essentially jump cancelling the first jump or do I just need to genuinely tap the button for a shorter amount of time? Because it feels impossible to press the button for a shorter period of time than I am and the jump still feels way too massive.
