If you want a SMG geared towards hipfire then I would highly recommend the MP28. With both hipfire specializations you still get the extended mag (50 rounds) and a fairly healthy firerate of 670 rpm.

I also play this way, using weapons that only belong to the faction you play as. Also all of my soldiers look authentic, no wacky gear. My British soldiers all have the sandman and the wanderer (I think that's what it's called) which makes them look like true WW2 Brits. So they mostly look the same aside from some different helmets for my assault and medic. My Germans all look different cause there's just more to work with and they look pretty damn cool and authentic too :p

The germans would not really have the m95. The Brits only made like 3 prototype turner SMLE so that's unrealistic. And the Brits would most likely never carry an m1 carbine. Although in rare cases.

I prefer the slow-fire weapons, so in my case, I like Ribeyrolles for assault, MP34 for medic, Bren for Support. For SAR, my favorite is Gewehr 1-5 and for shotgun is Browning Model 5. I feel most comfortable using those weapons. As for recon, I prefer Krag-JØrgenson, but I'm not good at sniping so in fact none of the recon weapon works well in my hand.

The ZK 383 literally is the best medic weapon. Better than the Tommy gun. In terms of console gameplay (x1, ps4). It perfectly kills at longer distance with the precision specialisation. And I recommend no to go for the higher fire rate but for the mag extension!

I think the EMP is one of the best medic weapons. Good accuracy, decent range(especially with headshots, obviously) reasonable but not too slow rate of fire and a fairly delicious recoil. I also love the MP34 with the left side specialization. It’s a beast both up close and at a slight range. Once I tried the left side with improved rate of fire I couldn’t go back. However it takes a different playstyle cuz 20 rounds is very little. Anyway, cool video!

The best support weapon is the Lewis double mag. Versatile, accurate, a ton of killing potential, this gun is one of the most oP thing in the game. You can make big flank, I remember doing a 106-14 with it in the grind mode.

The m30 lutwaffe is a godlike gun with the right upgrades and with good aim. The rifle bullets are very powerful at long range and I often find myself out gunning snipers due to the little bullet drop and 1 shot headshot

My top two favorites for each class: (My opinion, playstyle, and preference...) Assault: ribeyolles and turner SMLE Rib for objective play, turner for vehicle hunting Medic: suomi and jungle carbine Suomi to protect team mates and jung for when i have sniper squad mates staying at range Support: M30 drilling and bren gun Drilling is a versatile skill cannon. Reminds me of the martini henry with its slug round, good for quick work at short and long range. Bren gun is great for accurate medium range Recon: gewehr m95/kar98 or rsc These two bolt actions are my favorite for their reliability and are easily my most deadly weapons. Headahots are key. If im struggling with accuracy the rsc is my friend. Many of you would say why not the zh29??? Because i prefer the iron sights and faster reload of the rsc. Use it in closer range than the zh29 and it can be very effective. Only slr that can get 3 full health kills in a clip. Worth mentioning: Mg42, zk383, fg42, sweeper (cant remember the real name), grease gun, and the commando carbine if you play sneaky mid range. See you on the battlefield guys!

Suomi: If you go "RRRR" just use the Thompson instead. Loadout the Suomi in your 1v1 loadout: RLLR. That way you can choose your medic weapon by map or game mode, and you'll have both play styles ready without having to update your specializations. As far as the MP34, I like to equip the bayonet. The MP34 is THE ONLY SMG that allows a bayonet.

M28 Tromboncino is my favourite weapon at the moment. It's arguably the best weapon in mid range as you can either 1 shot headshot or 2 shot to the body. The fire rate when upgraded is absurd for a "bolt action" too. It's pretty much a slower, super powerful, low ammo cap semi auto.

The only thing I have to say - I know its oppinion but - I think most people who pick recon will be less aggressive and use long range bolt action, this is why I also think the m28 can't be compared to a bolt action because of the 1 headshot over range. I think that if u Master bolt actions you could be an amazing sniper and even be a bit aggressive with bolt actions or go on a spree with the revolver.

I'm struggling to find a full-auto assault rifle that I would describe as "my favourite". I've used all of them for a bit, but I honestly prefer the SMGs and LMGs a lot more. The semi-autos on the Assault seems like a much better alternative to me. I'd say maybe the Ribeyrolles is my "favourite", but I wouldn't put it in my top 10 favourite guns in the game.

Thompsons ads is lackluster compared to suomi. However perhaps im wrong but thompson reload speed makes it better for aggressive plays. Plus 10 extra rounds can mean the diffe2 between a squad wipe or watcing your kills be revived.

You forgot the shotguns. 12g automatic with 7 rounds absolutely obliterates at close range (clearing buildings) the m30 drilling is just incredibly fun at short and long distances (you can easily take out snipers at 50+ meters)

Nah brah Assault: STG44, AGM42 medic: EMP, TOMMY GUN SUPPORT: MG43, LEWIS GUN RECON: ZH29, KAR98K this is my opinion but I’ve found through many hours That these weapons are the best

I think there is a big difference in preference for mouse and keyboard and controller users. You definitely have less precision with a controller , so weapons with more rounds and ease of use will be used more often.

The bren you don't need the ported barrel it's better with quick reload. The horizontal recoil is better than you think.

Some guns cant be unlocked with level or bought, they can only Be unlocked durin a chapter i believe

I love STG 44 in Assault

Tommy is hands down better than Suomi. Yes, the Suomi is maybe 1 frame faster firing, but the reload is like 25% faster on the Tommy. Time and time again I would win 1, maybe 2 fights with the suomi only to have the reload kill me. The Tommy is still able to out dps almost any other weapon, and has the reload speed to keep you alive.

I think it's a fun and solid game. I got origin basic acces pass for like 4 euros a month, it's worth it imo
