Hi everyone! I'll be talking about graduation very soon as mine is next week! English is a pretty diverse subject and between my other friends it's pretty split between people taking a masters course and people going into work 🙂

I hated deadlines when I was studying. And I hated begging for an extension, you feel bit of a loser even though the tutors were always kind. Are you even allowed extensions at Cambridge?

It depends on the tutor but sometimes they set so much work you have to ask for an extension or adjust the work, and since it's mostly independent it's best just to do whatever is best for you - in this case I'd just had covid so was a few days behind on work and physically couldn't do it in time!

@@GeorgieEllen10 thanks Georgie. I always felt semi-defeated when I asked for an extension, but it's better than handing in really poor stuff for the sake of the deadline. After all when your results come through there's no mention of extensions or deadlines. If you're third year, I guess you've finished Cambridge now?
