Definitely a huge step up on quality when comparing with general "toy-grades" in it's price range. I only wonder if this has a fail safe, it may worth a test (indoor) to see when happens when the TX is shut off. I'm considering of getting one as it's been some time since I have "played" with a decent mini-quad.

No idea... but in any case... increase of the range of this thing would cost a lot more than the whole copter... what would be the point of this? I guess if you get to playing with antenna placement and optimisation... it could gain a few 10s of meters in range!

It is written in the user manual, I think it was something like "XK Inovat"... or something like this. Was not easy to find in the Play Store though, didn't show the first time I tried it.

For example there are Syma x21 / 22/23 w similar, without optical flow, but I am interested in a minimum of maneuverability outdoor and outdoor

thanks :-) definitely flies better in the wind of x21w and x22w of Syma. I do not know if the new x23w will have more strength. They are all without optical flow. This x150 seems to me a good product, although I am not a lover of this category

50 meters is more than enough for entry model flying! If FPV cameras were able of such range I'd just attach it to a drone and be all set. But I suppose camera on this little guy won't produce half acceptable image on SD card (and what's the point of flying if not having useable footage after), but other than that it's great. And thanks for sharing some coupons :)

The video recorded is 720p, but for some reason it is 19fps, BUT... still pretty good! Photos are also quite good... but all got lost with the copter! :)

Well, it's probably even more important knowledge about the copter - that it's so easily blown away - someone has to fight for the common knowledge hehe :)

Actually not "easily" blown away! It did put up a fight, but the gusts were indeed quite strong! I would say at least 5-6m/s.

Do you think it's better than the other similar unit you reviewed then, Visuo XS809HW? And what do you think about my attempt at a FPV drone setup for recording, will it even work, or should I just go with a toy-grade? :D I tried to assemble cheapest but somewhat decent parts. 1.
