NOVA Scale Novelty - While proficient, 'deck that synchro climbs a lot' is a tried and true method of play, and we aren't seeing much of an update to the formula. The wildest thing about the deck is the willingness to go all in on the WIND theming, which to be fair, IS pretty unique, but it uses that drawback to buy power, not innovation. 2/5 Objectivity - Because of our adherence to possibly the least supported Attribute in the game, we aren't exactly utilizing the Synchro Pool to it's fullest. We've also lost one of our best bosses in Baronne de Fleur just recently, so our one big omni negate is now out of reach. Despite how strong our remaining option are, they're no Lady Knight On A Cool Horse. 5/5 Versatility - As has been stressed before, the WIND Lock puts us in a pretty tragic bind when it comes to splashing in support. With the exception of Harpie Ladies, we've mentioned any WIND theme that has some synergy with Speedroid, and this severely limits our options. We even have trouble leaning into other Extra Deck types because our theme is so rooted in Tuner and non-tuner relations. 2/5 Awesomeness - ...but when you have this deck in your hands and the cards hum just the right way, slapping monsters onto the board, making Synchros, turboing out more material, making MORE synchros? It's one of those itch-scratcher decks that DOES something to your brain chemisty when you play it. Sure, a dice roll may not go your way sometimes, but overall, we have the flexibility and tenacity to still make a winning play. Pick up a core of this and play a few rounds with it, you won't be disappointed. 5/5 Total: 14/20 Thanks for reading! As somone who's only missing a copy of odd-eyes wing dragon and crystal wing to finish the clear wing family,and being a lucky owner of a ghost rare crystal clear wing. These fast toys are a fun deck to play once you get around that wind lock, besides this,only deck I've seen vomit so many synchros turn 1 are synchrons. And these guys have an excelent grind game

Ok, now that I've watched the video completely, as a speedroid enjoyer, I've got a couple things to add to the tech pick section: 1) Wynn the wind channeler. You can pitch the garnets from your hand to get almost any relevant speedroid. The lock doesn't matter since you're under it anyway if you use carturbo. 2) Small world. Oh, where do I begin with this. When I put it in my first version of the deck in MD, I played tempest as the bridge and/or a high-level body turn 3 and onward. Then, when the kash cards were released, I used unicorn or droll as the bridges. So, if you had 2 unicorns, you could just trade 1 away for a terrortop for extension or carturbo for a quick baronne. And, in MD or the OCG, you can play gadarla (the wind kaiju) to use maxx c as the bridge. It's just hilarious to show your opponent the bug in your hand as you throw it away for a new toy (literally). And as the icing on the cake, it's an ash magnet. If your opponent has it, they're using it 99% of the time. 3) You can play a small mecha phantom beast package - a tetherwolf or 2 and an o-lion. O-lion is a decent tuner for chanbara or hagoita, should you use it with a lvl3 non-tuner, generates a token and it also has a secret effect - an extra normal summon of an MPB. And tetherwolf is a 1 card RBS. I remember I used it to destroy a kash player after they locked 3 of my monster zones. It was pre-ariseheart, so not saying much, but that was fun. I even got it featured on a youtube channel that posts MD replays. Also, again, an MD exclusive - you can play auroradon, as long as you don't use RBS's extra normal. That should just about cover it. I may have missed some things, I'm just sharing my personal experience playing the deck on MD. Again, thanks Nova for the video on my probably favorite archetype of all time!

The combo section was a bit lacking. Terrortop is 1 card crystal wing + level 6 to 11 synchro (baronne, crystal wing, etc). Ss top, add marble. Normal marble, add taketom, ss taketom & effect for dice. Dice make top a 2, synch for cork. Cork revive mats. Dice effect on cork for whatever level (5 for baronne), dice and top for RBS. RBS banish a 6 for duke / hound. The result is the same. If hound to hand use RBS extra normal for dupligate trap. Summon trap from gy, by modulating hound. Hound + dupligate + marble for hagoita, hagoita + cork for baronne. Duke eff in grave revive cork, hagoita eff in grave to ss. Hagoita + cork for crystal wing. This also gives followup in gy with hound and hagoita for next turn.

Fun story: this deck was the first deck I used for a regionals event, and actually beat Kosmo decks during their prime, thanks to no small part to Clear Wing, my favorite shncho monster in the game.

3:08 I do not know if this is an old error on YGOPro, but I remember taking battle damage from an opponent's attack which allowed me to summon gumprize then synchro with the attacked monster. Basically, clear wing into crystal for taking damage. Edit: Thank you for the heart! No, not the opponent's monster but one of my own monsters. Allowing the monster to be used before it went to the graveyard but after taking damage. Not an amazing effect, but allowing you to squeeze a bit of good out of a bad situation. I can see the confusion in my statement as I said "attacked monster" which can easily be misread as "attacking monster". I should have said defending instead.

Yeah, must have been some kind of glitch, cause you are NOT supposed to be able to use your opponent's monsters for that synchro summon. Unless some other effect was in play that altered the effect.

Synchro has always been my favorite summoning method. I can't help it, old school Dragunity has infected me for life. But after the 5Ds era ended, there weren't really many Synchro archetypes for a while. Until one very stupid boy came crashing on a D-Wheel during early Arc-V. It was very quick that Yugo became not only my favorite Arc-V character, but one of my favorite Yugioh characters in general. Clear Wing Synchro Dragon rose to the top of my card list, standing proudly alongside Gungnir and once HSRD came out, Speedroids became my pet deck of choice, only recently sharing the spotlight with Ice Barriers thanks to the Terminal World revision. I wait patiently for the next wave of support to truly bring the Pendulum side of the deck to full light.

Praying konami drops odd-eyes speedroid, odd-eyes, pk, and odd-eyes predaplant to combine the Yu-boy archetypes for an end of series yuya-esque deck. They can even drop an odd-eyes gate magician to reference zarc and make it a link-1 pendulum for the culture. After all, Zarc (and ray) was the link between the dimensions

chanbara has always been pretty funny to me, each time it attacks it gains 200 so i just picture the big sword doing 2000 damage and the new 200s being small slashes from the small swords, as it attacks it goes faster and faster so each time it can attack one more time with the small swords, at 2800 attack it hits once with the big sword and 4 times with the small swords like a tiny blender on the edge of a stick, such a goofy guy that i cant help but love

Ngl, I prefer having a picture of the actual card on the screen. Gives that extra level of verification when something is oddly worded that it wasn't a typo, or that (if it was) verifies if the same text appears on the card in that manner. (20:35) I have three copies of this card and just today realized it has 3 Ds. (47:05) So if you control Genex Controller, you can play Speedlift to special summon Speedroid Pachingo-kart. This accomplished, you can then discard a machine monster (which both Genex and Speedroid use) to pop an enemy card, then synchro summon Genex Triforce (thought it won't have a secondary effect), Windmill Genex, or any other level 7 synchro.

I use speedroids for rank 4 xyz toolbox summons . Speedroid horse stilts is fantastic for this use. I never use terrortop because it is level 3 and useless to my playstyle. Fuku Modoshi, horse stilts, menko. I like using speedroids to explosively dismantle opponent boards in only a few actions, I use them to have short explosive fast combos that don't take forever to play out. The only speedroid synchro that I use is high speedroid kitedrake because it can blow up the field and or negate opponent's monsters. I have noticed a synergy with sharks when speedroids are used with rank 4 xyz focus since sharks are also fast to plop out. The focus isnt long drawn out combos or ending on big scary negate filled generic boards. the focus is going second and destroying your opponents board once they have made it and having the option to deal with literally any possible board any opponent puts up. The focus is also to take as little time per turn as possible to play cards each turn, true to speed in name

Mecha Phantom Beast Thetherwolf summons a token on summon making one card Rubberband Shooter. It’s level seven while the token is on the field and in a pinch you can tribute the token to boost its attack up to 2500.

Silly tech pic myself, notice the names? Thats right, all the speedroids are machine "roid" monsters, so adding some appropriate roid support can help out in niche situations. It may not be competatively viable... but its fun as heck imo. My favorite thing to do is use Necro Fusion or Power Bond to summon Barbaroid barbaroid out of nowhere is worth it just for the confusion on peoples faces

Yep. Special Summon unicorn, normal summon dice and get the bomb, and if they destroy it, you get terrortop on an empty field. You can also play small world, because droll is an amazing hand trap these days, and in master duel, if you play gadarla (the wind kaiju), even maxx c becomes a starter

All these Typelock effects seem to be attempts at stopping the Meta Duelists from using their current mishmash decks, except it makes those same players not touch them thus making these cards essentially useless. Reason 1000 why I despise Competitive.
