Pomerol is my favorite appellation in the world, just pure beauty. 2024 was a good year for me visiting Petrus, Le Pin, Lafleur, La Fleur-Petrus, Vieux Chateau Certan, La Conseillante, Clinet and Gazin. My favorite from Pomerol is VCC and La Conseillante, and for ”budget” i often buy Plince that i think is good quality - ratio

Tried Petrus(85) but the best Pomerol i tried was the 82 Lafleur, just amazing and on level with the best burgundys i have had. Great video Julien!

I tried Petrus but it was just a small glass that a friend opened up for his anniversary, and it was long ago. Quite exceptional from what I remember, though it was long ago when they were priced far less. It was 1990. Château Clinet is one that I like very much and also Chateau La Fleur Petrus. Both are memorable wines.

Very nice video, I enjoyed it a lot. My all time Pomerol favs are : Vieux Chateau Certan, La Conseillante, Trotanoy, Clinet, among others. Even though Petrus and Le Pin are bucket list wines, I would never spend that kind of money on a single bottle of wine no mater what.

I just got into Pomerol. I had a 2012 Clos l’eglise a few months ago and it was incredible. Now I’m hooked on Pomerol!

I think Chateau La Conseillante wines are sublime especially after Mariel took over wine making. Recently opened a 2017 (supposedly not a good vintage) but it put a smile on the faces of everyone who had it… nuff said…

Had Petrus 87 and 82. Both at blind tasting with friends. the 87 was actually called out by 2 people (what an audacity to think that someone would bring it for lunch...:)). The legendary 82 was tasted after 6 other wines which was a mistake as it didn't give hit enough space to show itself.

Tasted 79,81 & 13 Petrus some of the best wines I ever tasted chateau lafleur petrus 09 comes close 😊

ya want my petrus experience? voila 1997 i stole a bottle in london costing 467 quid 1976 vintage the lovely clay was there but overall the wine sucked, coarse ,uglish tobbaco aromas i loved trotanoy, conseillante, fleur gai go for masseto,son! cheers
