Beautiful peice! The Shinto rasp is an awesome tool! Narex has a curved tooth mill file that would be a good addition to your hand tool arsenal as well. Really enjoy watching your content my friend.

Did you have any issues gluing the cocobolo? I've had to use acetone on oily woods before I glued them, but I don't think I've ever used Cocobolo before.

This tree is native to Mexico. It is a very hard wood with a dense and gorgeous grain pattern. Thank you.
