Got extremely lucky with my boombox. Got a purple stars aaron rodgers auto. I would never have a chance to rip these outrageously priced boxes so a company like boombox gives me a decent variety and at least a small chance to hit some nice cards from premium products....Great vid as always!

Topps is notorious for sending juiced boxes to breakers like Stryker. Every pack had super rare hits that no average guy could pull. Optic has been trash for everyone I know. Worst return of investment I’ve ever seen.

I agree with you about Stryker he gets loaded boxes for sure. I think all buy in breakers are really bad for the hobby and it jacks the prices up on everything so not everyone can enjoy the hobby...

I can't speak to Stryker, but apparently, there's some news coming down the pike related to scanners and breakers/distributors. All I say is the hobby is heading in the wrong direction.

I enjoy watching individuals and Breakers open up all FOTL and Hobby cases of 2023 Donruss Optic...crazy expensive Product. I will just continue trying to get a CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson and Zay Flowers in the Green Velocity from the hated Value Packs because it is all I can ever find. I am 0-24 from my 2 Boxes of Value Packs...I was happy with the 18 Blaster Boxes I found early...did hit a few colored RCs of some of the Players I am chasing, but don't have much to show for the Retail I have been able to find. Tough Product overall Financially if you are trying to hit a Downtown...thanks for the breakdown of Hobby! 🤓🏈

I think most collectors are feeling priced out of most hobby products, and it's a shame. Hobby really is a breakers arena now a days.

If Panini has Optic next year I expect 4 DTs per FOTL and 2 a box for Hobby. Every year they have become more prevalent. Also scalpers will buy all the retail from Panini directly and sell them at 4x recommended cost. This of coarse is based on my Optic experience and yes I am a little bitter and happy at the same time.

DTs are way more common than their print numbers. The hobby is all about feel rather than numbers.

It's not a box for the feint of heart. It can absolutely destroy you. Blasters I think are better than Megas but I wouldn't be paying secondary market prices for those. Prayers it is! 🙏

With the downtown fiasco it makes me worried that they printed more downtowns. Which if that's the case I worry that it could devalue them from this set altogether.

There's little doubt they printed more. How many more is up in the air. I didn't mention it in my videos, but plenty of numbered DTs were also in the FOTL boxes. Did they double print those? Or did hobby get the shaft? It's hard to predict if it devalued DTs. It's hard to think it doesn't, but the hobby is also feelings over facts.

Oof not the best box. Question on your comment about 2 short prints in 1 box comment. If there is a mythical pulled from 1 box there is likely another mythical in the same box? Or could it be a downtown, etc?

If I remember right, and I went back and watched a case break, if the two SP inserts come in the same box but are never with a Downtown. So, you'll get a Mythical and a Rookie Kings for example. Don't want you buying the rest expecting a DT 😁

Congrats! I cringe when I see an Optic pack in a Boombox. So hard to hit out of one pack.
