Haha I didn’t know candy was gonna blame bladers for the park! 😂 Forreal it was the city ignoring the requests of the skaters to save money. If that park filled the space it was supposed to it would have been perfect. Pier 7 replica, emb replica, actual deep ends on the bowls. Etc. They hired a lowest bidder concrete company who came in and said the park would save money without all the flat space in between. Hence no run up or landing room. If you look inside the gates there’s a whole grassy area that was supposed to be skatepark. Also those fools didn’t know how to pour smooth walls or set coping and rails. Little history for you from the old guy 😅

growing up skating a "not good" park is probably the best thing ever, "if you can skate here you can skate anywhere" really is a thing so many rippers from my home park and when we went to other parks we always killed it because of the home park *barrie ontario canada*

I always thought skateparks should have a age requirement. Like 12 or 13 and older. Little kids ridin around the park and bein oblivious can be so dangerous to not only the kid but also to the other people ridin the park who can sometimes tend to get tunnel vision if they locked in learnin a new trick or tryin to perfect a recently learned trick. If y'all's want a crusty roller-skater designed park, you should come through in Merced. Our Applegate skate park borders on unskatable it's so poorly designed and dilapidated. Then while youre here you can check out our other two parks that are actually good. Lol
