I consider short dailies to be a blessing, especially if there's quality of life features like direct shortcuts or a sweep system. Some games have a meter or quota of sorts so you don't have to do ALL the daily quests and can just pick and choose the ones you want until the meter/quota is completed. I think part of what makes a game enjoyable is the grind, not so much that it's tedious yet is still worth doing, which is ideally what the daily system accomplishes.

I like that you can do everything quickly. The game will launch with over 100 hours of content, so a few minutes for dailies is amazing.

Oh it looks really similar to pgr system for me, but I think many games have that. I personally like when you can just farm in the game and earn daily reward without doing pointless missions that takes 10-20 minutes and then also farm. Also I prefer auto farming in games so I'm really excited for this new games

I really like short dailies, since i play other games (like pgr, genshin and story games on ps4) and have things to do in my routine, this type of sistem allows me to play more games whithout spending all my hours

Honestly glad the daily grind dosent take long it actually respects my time plus doing all my dailies and sweeping the over world enemies in each world every reset already offers me plenty of content and playtime so I'm satisfied.

I think it's very very good that you don't have to spent much time. Hoyo probably knows that most people playing Starrail are coming from the other Hoyo games and they want you to play more of there Games instead of switching Games.

there's something to be said for short dailies. I think the core issue will be "what's there outside of the dailies". In spite of all the content in Genshin, actually doing your "daily" chores amounts to about 15-20m, and that's if your slow. It's a very similar setup to HSR. you have 4 daily quests, you can port to the area, and reasonably clear them in about 5m. The rest of the time is spending your energy, and most people do it in dungeon type battles, similar to HSR. you can get character leveling resources, weapon leveling resources, or artifacts. So slightly longer time, but very similar setup. Unless the dungeons are challenging for me, My dailies take about 12m. The real gem in GI is what's there outside of dailies. There's almost always a large scale event going on with multiple things to do in it, there's side stories, questlines that focus on individual characters in the game, there's almost always something else to explore, and you have tons of various completion tasks to get more rewards from in every zone. It's all the rest of that stuff that really makes GI an amazing game, that you can just do your 20m, or you can spend hours if you want to. Since HSR is made by literally the same people, I am assuming that there will be more, but the word of caution is there NEEDS to be more, if the game is going to establish a foothold in the genre and compete with it's own big brothers, Genshin and HI. Allot of the players that play Genshin (including myself) are keeping an eye on this. I'm not a 15m guy, I'm a 15m-3 hour guy, depending on the situation, and I think most people are in that category.

Pretty glad the daily grind is not too long. I play Nikke, and Eversoul and this will be a nice 3rd game. I do hope they add PVP though.

Genshin was a joke because it had the appeal of so many things to do, but I can finish dailies faster than Blue Archive. Star Rail is fine imo because it's basically Persona with Honkai IP. If I can play it as a side game casually then this is appealing for sure.

Short dailies are the best! I don't have any time to waste on a game and the sole reason I never got into Genshin, Honkai or ToF was purely because I didn't have time. I love Gachas that give me quick, easy dailies I can do while going about my time. My only worry now is Simulated Universe is like AFK arena. Enemies scale to you blah blah blah I FUCKING HATE THAT. Let me go through and destroy weak ass shit so I don't fucking stress.

The mechanic of dungeon master agsinst dungeon conquerer could be cool. Like when one person has a dungeon (rogue like) and another one tries to complete it. There are a lot of ways to make interesting content without involvement of direct PvP. The question is wether or not they will consider it something that will have good return on the money invested into developing it or not

Love that the dailies and weeklies in HSR are short and sweet! As the beta looks right now, it does feel like a less complete game (shocking, a beta is an incomplete game?!) than Genshin... but then again, I've stopped playing Genshin partially because there's just too much to do. I think they're aiming for `Simulated Universe` to make up for the loss of exploration. Maybe SU + a steady stream of interesting events is the right balance!

Love it, I quit genshin because it became too grindy for me and a hassle to upgrade characters needing to walk through the open world to gather the specific materials. So I think Im gonna love Star rail

I would not count on much more content. Assuming things will be similar to Genshin it's about the same. Yes, Genshin has an open-world to explore, but this game has a smaller equivalent. They seem to design their games to be played as such: 1. Enjoy the story content 2. Explore & collect 3. Do dailies & wait for event 4. Do dailies & wait for next patch

I hope this game gets about the same amount of content Genshin has. The stamina system here seems lower than Genshins which worries me.. I like to grind. But being a Mihoyo game I'm sure there'll be a load of events/new story chapters/new characters in the pipeline. Idk hopefully they add loads of stuffs!

the main selling point is just a returning same character from the best franchise mihoyo has done. yeah mihoyo is just milking it further with different game, same character. the system is just copy paste from genshin. 2 months full of story and things to do and then draught phase comes in. waiting for new things to do and do them in just 2 days then wait 3 months again to have 2 days worth of to do. its basically just genshin but turn base

No reason why dailies should take more than 10m. Its the same or even faster in genshin. Yes the side stuff/exploration takes longer in genshin but its still one time content and once ure done u just wait for new content and do the quick dailies.

Everything Volkin points out, makes it really funny that people in the comments of every Gacha game, think HSR is gonna steal every other playerbase and kill other gachas. This game will have a burst in the beginning, people will catch up with the story and then when it just turns into a daily "artifact" grind like Genshin, people will go back to their Gacha with actual daily content. I was very excited for this game, cause I love turn based games and I think the story will be quite enjoyable. But I hate the Genshin daily grind and this seems like it's exactly the same, so it'll be a sleeper game. One with no end game, that you only really play when there's a story update. Plus the Gacha is bad lol
