THANK YOU!! I have albinism but the hair on my head is slightly darker than there's but everything else is the same. And my eyes have bit more pigment in them but I am albino and 14. So many kids at school judge me for it and I hate it. I let it get to me in Grade 7 and didn't want to go to school and tried to just hide myself but now I'm proud to show it and really don't care that im different from everyone else. I just wish i could find a best friend like that. The only difference is i colour in my eyebrows and put mascara on when i go to school because i still am not fully confident.

It wasn't easy standing out so much and people staring. My big piece of advice to you two is to stay strong and stay by each others side. Through the highs and the lows. You may be "different" to this world but your just like anyone else! your heads high and just embrace who you are. What matters is your inner self. Not your outward appearance. You appearance is what people judge. But if people really get to know a person they'll find that your just like everyone else.

A kid in my class has albinism, and he gets bullied everyday and I kinda feel bad. Like he would get picked on about where his eyebrows are, why his eyelashes are white, why he was so pale, and why his hair was practically white, etc. Some people would also spot these huge pimples and just throws stuff at him like he wasn’t human, and it bugs me. I’m glad I don’t do that kinda stuff to others, like let the kid live ya know?

I graduated with an albino, one of the most liked guys in our grade. He always kept a girlfriend and talked to everyone. We had a couple classes together and it didn’t take long for the teachers to separate us because we were always cutting up. We kept in touch some after school but marriage, kids, and life happened. you have to figure in the fact that they are Paperwhite so like most white things they reflect colors around them like when they were wearing those bright jumpers they looked reddish. Plus they still have blood and it's still red so they can get flush. also their hair may be stained almost a yellowish from constant touching with their hands. skin oil and all. You have to remember they're not aliens they just don't have as much pigment as everyone else

I had a friend throughout middle school and highschool that had albinism. Never saw him as any different but he was also african american so he was the only one in his family to have remotely light skin. Beautiful man might i add 😍🤗

I have albinism too, OCA 1b, which means I have more pigment than some people but my skin and hair are still rly light and I can’t see well. I love meeting/learning about other people with albinism too, and knowing I’m not the only one ♥️

I’m am Albino myself. I don’t really get teased a lot because everybody at my school is really nice. I’m really the only one who stands out in the crowd but everybody does. That’s what makes us unique!

I live in the USA Akron Ohio home of LeBron James and my Uncle carries the Albino genes for girls both his girls are Albino his boys aren't. The oldest girl has a lighter brown complexion skin and the other has what these girls have and she African American. It's so unique. Great video!!

They HAVE Albinism. They are not ALBINO because they are NOT the condition. Please refrain from that as we don't call people affected with Down Syndrome as "Downers", let's just respect them.

I found out about 2 weeks ago that I have Albinism! I have a moderate form. My hair darkened as I got older and I have always joked throughout my life that I look albino because I truly get WHITE skin. It is as white as the snow. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome too which affects the skin and my skin is truly interesting and rare because I do have some melanin in my skin because I can tan sometimes and get quite dark - yet it will last a few days or a week and then vanishes and I go back to my white/porcelain skin. I was stunned because it finally made sense that my dreadful eyesight and my skin was all from something. I am truly unique and so now I am trying to learn about my Albinism because I think it's quite cool (despite being bullied to no end in school for being so white and with white hair.) I was born with horrible eyesight, white skin, and truly white hair. It didn't darken some until I was older though.
