HellsScythe was the first balance type Beyblade that dropped at the start of Beyblade X and we quickly received LeonClaw shortly after. LeonClaw is also a balance type that brings back the lion avatar many Beyblade fans missed seeing. Balance types are designed to be all-rounders, but LeonClaw embodies it since it possesses the "Double Motion" ability. Which of these first couple of balance types is stronger?

We DID NOT expect the score at the end 😂 very fun and unexpected battle! We filmed this battle before HellsChain came out because we wanted to see which of the first couple of balance types was better. Bird and HellsScythe still getting clapped in the anime/manga, but we should see a turning point for his character soon. It's pretty obvious he'll get better since HellsChain is now out 💀 Expect to see all of the unboxings and a ton of videos VERY soon!

What's been explained to me at a Beyblade tournament in regards to the burst at 1:40 is that the burst takes priority because the burst happens at the very moment of contact, regardless of where the other bey ends up, like in the pocket for instance. So since Hells Scythe ended up in the pocket nanoseconds after hitting Leon Claw and making it burst, that technically should be Hells Scythe's points.

Thanks for commenting! We were thinking the same thing, but after reviewing our footage in slow motion, the burst seems to not happen right away and LeonClaw actually bursts after it rebounds from the attack and touches the Xtreme Line! Everything happens so fast in battles...wish we could instant replay as we're filming 😂

1:39 this burst finish was extremely violent, I think it's because hellscythe was propelled from the start towards the X line and was able to hit leonclaw had the greatest striking power because hellscythe still had all his energy and used the X dash from the start

0:41 im almost certain they do this cause it matches the type of beyblade, for all the main releases so far the bits are the same colour as the beyblades type, the only exception so far is shark edge with a purple bit

I used to play when I was very young in school; I am now 31 years old. I bought a cheap Kit Beyblade Burst Pro Series from Hasbro for my children to start with. LeonClaw seems too inconsistent to be better than HellScythe. HellScythe won more individual battles, but LeonClaw was getting more high-point victories. Across a multiple round event, I think HellScythe would probably be the better choice because of its improved consistency comparatively.
