Well shit me!! You've just made me realise what the popular X tipsters have been playing at all this time!! They spot the value already in the market before time, tip to their followers (say on a football pick) and show all their proof "this is an overpriced bet, look at the price on these couple of bookies in comparison", all the time while having a lay bet on it.. then as the market moves with all the followers bets, they can then cash out their lay bet just before the game starts and pocket the odds movement as profit 🤦‍♂️ sneaky mofos 🙄

Surely tipsters would back it when its longer odds, then tip it to the punters who when they back it would result in its price shortening, and then tipsters would lay it for the profit? Not lay and then lay.
