This video deals with the Beuth monument and follows the content of the videos on Schinkelplatz and the Thaer monument.
The Beuth monument was created in collaboration between Rauch's students August Kiss, who designed the statue, and Friedrich Drake, who created the reliefs. From these you can learn a lot about Berlin's industrial history.
The founder of the trade institute and Prussian statesman Peter Christian Wilhelm Beuth was the State Councilor responsible for the industrialization of Prussia from 1818. He paved the way for Prussian producers from manufacturing to competitive industrial production.
