Here's a masterpiece by Fabio Frizzi for the movie "The Beyond" by Lucio Fulci. I don't own any rights. Well, enjoy!

The Beyond is the best horror movie theme. It has some of the greatest scenes movie history. Scary zombies, incredible music, gritty atmosphere, spectacular gore, and great imagery. Thank you lucio fulci for this amazing movie and Fabio frizzi for this beautiful music.

I love the bit where the zombies smash the glass and grab Katherine’s hair with the music kicking in. Also the music when they find they’re in the painting is so peaceful even though they’re now in hell and it’s game over. Also the Burning is awesome. I first saw it on Vipco VHS. There was a Trailer for Zombie Flesh Eaters and from there I was addicted to Vipco cult classics :-P

the music helps a lot, because it's so beautifully composed, twisting the disturbing imagery in the film, making things, in a way, more disturbing.

Fabio Frizzi soundtracks are a lot like that I noticed. If you didn't know they were from a horror movie..you'd think they were from something more upbeat and inspirational..thats why I love them...they aren't dreary.

This movie is epic. Fabulous ending, incredible score. I saw Fabrio Frizi perform this, and many other of his works, live at the Hollywood Theater in Portland in 2017 (if you live there, you know how many amazing films/shows they perform there)! Fabrio was so kind and blown away by how many people in the US adored his work. He stated he works with a few close members and they use objects and such to create weird sounds before putting it all to music.

Sandro Suarez the end scene is pretty much Obvious....the gates of hell have been opened allowing the damned and dead to cross back over to our realm, which eventually leads the main protagonists to be brought back to the gates as well since they too are damned, the last part merely represents the 2 of them passing through the now opened gates into the beyond...where they shall face the sea of darkness and all therein may be discovered.

Wow, this has to be one of the most beautiful soundtracks for a film ever. And for a gory zombie film, eh? Initially seems very unfitting for such a theme, but apparently it's zombies not of infection, but rather of the damned. With that information suddenly this tracks feels like it fits perfectly.

The movie is a masterpiece, there's absolutely no need to remake it. It's better to get inspired by it and make something *original*.

Maybe not a remake per se but as you suggested perhaps something inspired by it maybe a spiritual successor of sorts. I would love a film that explores similar territory with the same fantastic visual tapestry and atmosphere but a better script.

The lyrics of this song are not phonetic invented words and are not in Italian. These are verses in Latin from Dies Irae: CUM RESURGET CREATURA QUANTUS TREMOR EST FUTURUS QUANDO JUDEX EST VENTURUS (not sure if this last verse is used)
@Uhanek8 жыл бұрын
+Apotheosis official Well, as far as I kwow it is actually italian: "dove sorge creatura" = Where is the creature
@apotheosisofficial58248 жыл бұрын
+Uhanek No, because "dove sorge creatura" is incorrect italian, and the rest of the verses match the latin Dies Irae. Check the second and fourth verse in the text section en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dies_Irae
@Uhanek8 жыл бұрын
+Apotheosis official Yes, you´re right. I got it wrong. Once I read somewhere that it´s "dove sorge creatura" (actually it would be "dove é la creatura" in correct italian, right?) and since then that´s what I heard :o)) Funnny how the mind works. Anyhow, now I hear the latin line. And of course it makes much more sense together with the other latin verses.
