The BGC Manila BLEW MY MIND! (First Impressions)

It was finally time to see what has been touted as the 'FUTURE' of the Philippines and find out for myself what all the fuss was about. I have to say, during my time I was shocked by how modern and clean it was! I almost felt like I had stepped into another country!
After my initial first impressions I decided to get some food and drinks, take part in a dance class (yes you heard right!) and explore the entire area. Sit back and enjoy the video!

What a cool spot! I 100% want to check out this place. I love how it's modern but also has spaces for local vendors too. The jewellery you were looking at was so cute - very sweet of you to look for me 🥰 . The zoom-in made me laugh 😆. Connor, BGC is the most modern part of Metro Manila, is upscale, and the atmosphere there is comparable to those of the major cities in the US. Nice seeing you and Josh enjoying the activities and food there. Venice mall is also a vibe, and its main attraction is the feeling of being in Venice, complete with the canal and the gondolas. That was another enjoyable vlog, brother! 😊👍

Agree. Also, thank you for indirectly correcting vlogger. BGC is not in Manila. It's in Taguig, Metro Manila. Venice Mall is indeed a really nice place. I find it weird though that they cement / tile everything but also put potted plants everywhere. They should have just planted them directly onto the soil for more vibrant and vigorous growth. There is no winter here in PHL so no need to take plants indoors.

It's not the most modern part. There are penty of other areas that are just as "modern". Rockwell, Eastwood, Circuit Makati, even Makati still, etc.. It's just hype and twice the price.

@@QuicknStraight ... and twice the cockroaches. Lolz! I have worked both in BGC and Makati and definitely BGC has more cockroaches. To be fair, the companies there do have pest control but we all know it's impossible to totally get rid of those critters. It's understandable though... BGC is more recently developed (from a forest/grassland) so the "original tenants" are still there.

@@mocabe01 When i was working in BGC, it was still grass and trees covering 98% of the land! I still prefer Makati, of the two, but i live in Pasig these days, in a very nice condo development which is peaceful, off the traffic routes and yet still only 15 minutes from BGC, if I need to go there, and 20 minutes from Makati. And, yes, I ride my own motorbike! 🤣

PH was a former colony of the US, which is why you see many western influences in PH, like in food, restaurants, language, music, culture, etc. BGC started its urban devpt since 1995, but formerly it was the US military base. Also, Ayala ave Makati city is also a clean and modern financial business district which was dubbed as the Wall Street in 70s and madison avenue of the PH in 80s. Enjoy and stay safe!

Try other part of manila lime bgc the Ortigas center in pasig the 2nd business district of Philippines and Eastwood city of Quezon city, or ASEANA BAY at night in pasay, or in alabang town center in Muntinlupa city
