This series will show you what it’s like to thru-hike the 1002 km (623 mile) Bibbulmun Track in Western Australia. Watch the entire series as we release them here: • The Bibbulmun Track Se...

Glad the tiger snake got out of your way… Last year on the Bibb, one bit me on the heel…. It kind of ambushed me as I walked past.. it was under a pile of leaves, so didn’t see it. After a worrying few minutes I got the courage up to check my foot, and was so relieved to see it hadn’t penetrated to the skin!! It destroyed my confidence and I stopped the hiking at Pemberton.. now hopefully I’ll get back out in a few weeks and get the trail finished…

Finally 👏 have been waiting for so long 😆 We were supposed to be on Hinchinbrook Island right now doing the Thorsborne trail but had storms all night and a severe weather warning this morning so couldn’t go, the boat got cancelled. Now I’m undecided if we will even try again tomorrow. Maybe I just need to watch a hiking video to remotivate me!

Easter 2019, there was 10 or 12 of us stuffed in Frankland hut getting hit by hail storms all night. I won't forget that one. Yes people make noise at night. Deal with it! We're all guilty of it.

Absolutely wonderful well worth the wait. What time of year did you do the walk? The beginning of the episode you said it was very humid to you having freezing hands by the end. Although that part of WA does get extremes or all seasons in one day. Thanks for sharing with us. X

Wow Im yet to come across a quite mattress yet. My wife and I put ours inside a thermal slip that is meant to inside my sleeping bag to reduce noise and I still wear earplugs so no matter whats going on around I still get a good sleep, sounds like that guy should carry earplugs to prevent himself from being a complete p;;;k haha

Or use his tent, which we don't think he had... Steve also uses a liner over the mat in communal spaces. It helps. Exped tend to be the quietest, while Thermarest and Sea to Summit are super noisy.
