The Bible Does Not Talk About God | Summary & Analisis of Mauro Biglino’s Thesis

Mauro Biglino is an Hebrew, Aramaic and ancient Greek translator of the Hebrew Bible to Italian that became viral in Italy while being interviewed by a popular podcast called Muschio Selvaggio for his research about the Christian and Hebrew Bible.
Mauro Biglino claims that the Bible was written by the Israeli people to describe their relation with their governor called Yahweh, and that theologians of the following centuries inappropriately ''turned'' Yahweh in a spiritual God, a God that does not belong to us by manipulating the Bible and the name of God itself and creating grammar rules to justify the use of the word ''Elohim'' which describes ''God'' but in the plural form.
All the ancient mythologies and religions, the Sumerian Annunnaki, the Greek theoi, the Incan Viracocha, the Indian Deva and the Incan Viracocha, argues Mauro Biglino, lead to the same conclusion, that we came from the sons of the stars, did we come from an ancient alien civilization called Elohim? Did the Elohim inject their DNA in the homo erectus to create the homo sapiens? Where Adam and Eve really created by the Elohim or just put in the Garden of Eden from outside the world? In the Bible there are many Elohim, but there's no God.

I really enjoyed your video. I read the first chapters of Genesis, focusing on diet, and what was being instructed to eat. I noticed that while Adam and Eve covered themselves with fig leaves, God instructs them to wear animal skins. In the Story of Cain and Abel, God rejects Cain's offering of vegetables, preferring the animal sacrifice of Abel. In Buddism, the Buddha was enlightened under a fig tree, which traditionally held the most sacred place in their temple, contrasted with Jesus cursing the fig tree after casting out the money changers. I also noticed that God says to Adam 'by the sweat of your brow will you eat your bread'...which becomes shew bread and the Eucharist. In the Egyptian Religion, the resurrection of Osiris was displayed by wheatgrass, barley Grass and millet growing out of a soil Mummy wrapped in linen, and the God Min also had a similar ritual, with wheatgrass being offered to the God in a yearly offering... Modern scientist have proved the nutritional value of cereal grasses, (Charles Schnabel, Dr Hagiwara), what the ancients seemed to know well. The tree of life,traditionally a pine tree, may relate to the djed of Osiris, or the ancient Japanese Bhuddist' that spent their final days dehydrating themselves, eating salt and pine needles to self mummify while chanting and praying until they reach the other side in a pure state...

When holy men of God write or speak by the power of the Holy Ghost, their words “shall be scripture, shall be the will of the Lord, shall be the mind of the Lord, shall be the word of the Lord, shall be the voice of the Lord, and the power of God unto salvation” (Doctrine and Covenants 68:4). The official, canonized scriptures of the Church, often called the standard works, are the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. The principal purpose of scriptures is to testify of Christ and to guide the children of God so they can come unto Him and receive eternal life (see John 5:39; 20:31; 1 Nephi 6:4; Mosiah 13:33-35). The Book of Mormon prophet Mormon taught: “Whosoever will may lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil, and lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked- “And land their souls, yea, their immortal souls, at the right hand of God in the kingdom of heaven, to sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and with Jacob, and with all our holy fathers, to go no more out” (Helaman 3:29-30). God, who is the same “yesterday, today, and forever” (2 Nephi 29:9), continues to reveal scripture in modern times as He did in ancient times. Latter-day prophets counsel people everywhere to study the scriptures daily, including the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. They encourage individual and family scripture study. They encourage us, as Nephi encouraged his brethren, to liken the scriptures to ourselves, finding ways that the sacred accounts of old apply in our lives today (see 1 Nephi 19:23-24). They exhort us to “search the scriptures” (John 5:39) and “feast upon the words of Christ” (2 Nephi 32:3). Daily, meaningful scripture study helps individuals be receptive to the guidance of the Holy Ghost. It builds faith, fortifies against temptation, enlightens, and helps individuals draw near to our Heavenly Father and His Beloved Son. The Bible The Bible is divided into two parts: the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is a sacred record of God’s dealings with His covenant people in the Holy Land. It includes the teachings of such prophets as Moses, Joshua, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Daniel. The New Testament records the birth, mortal ministry, and Atonement of the Savior. It concludes with the ministry of the Savior’s disciples. Because the Bible has been translated many times, it is printed in different versions. In English, the King James Version of the Bible is accepted as scripture by the Church. In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we revere the Bible and its sacred teachings. We can receive strength, comfort, and guidance from the biblical accounts of God’s dealings with His people. The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ The Book of Mormon came forth in this dispensation by the will of the Lord. It is a record of God’s dealings with the people who lived in the ancient Americas. Prophets of the Lord engraved the original records on gold plates. The Lord declared that the Book of Mormon contains “the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ” (Doctrine and Covenants 20:9; see also Doctrine and Covenants 42:12). On September 22, 1827, an angel named Moroni-the last Book of Mormon prophet-delivered these records to the Prophet Joseph Smith. By the gift and power of God, the Prophet Joseph translated the record into English. Since then, the Book of Mormon has been translated into many other languages. The primary purpose of the Book of Mormon is to convince all people “that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, manifesting himself unto all nations” (title page of the Book of Mormon). It teaches that all people “must come unto him, or they cannot be saved” (1 Nephi 13:40). Joseph Smith said that the Book of Mormon is “the keystone of our religion, and a man [will] get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book” (introduction to the Book of Mormon). The Book of Mormon is another witness for the truths taught in the Bible. It also restores “plain and precious” truths that have been lost from the Bible through errors in translation or “taken away” in attempts to “pervert the right ways of the Lord” (see 1 Nephi 13:24-27, 38-41). The Bible and the Book of Mormon “shall grow together, unto the confounding of false doctrines and laying down of contentions, and establishing peace” (2 Nephi 3:12). Near the end of the Book of Mormon, the prophet Moroni teaches us how we can know the book is true: “When ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost” (Moroni 10:4; see also Moroni 10:3 and Moroni 10:5). The Doctrine and Covenants The Doctrine and Covenants contains revelations given to the Prophet Joseph Smith. It also includes a few revelations given to other latter-day prophets following Joseph Smith. This book of scripture is unique because it is not a translation of ancient documents. It is a collection of revelations given by the Lord to His chosen prophets in the latter days. The Prophet Joseph Smith said that the Doctrine and Covenants is “the foundation of the Church in these last days, and a benefit to the world, showing that the keys of the mysteries of the kingdom of our Savior are again entrusted to man” (section heading for Doctrine and Covenants 70). The Pearl of Great Price The Pearl of Great Price contains the book of Moses, the book of Abraham, the Prophet Joseph Smith’s inspired translation of Matthew chapter 24, and some writings of the Prophet Joseph. The book of Moses is a small excerpt from Joseph Smith’s inspired translation of the Bible. It is a more complete record of Moses’s writings at the beginning of the book of Genesis in the Old Testament. It contains many doctrines and teachings that were lost from the Bible and gives additional information about the plan of salvation, the creation of the earth, and the Lord’s dealings with Adam and Enoch. The book of Abraham is a translation of ancient records written on papyrus that came into the possession of the Church in 1835. The Prophet Joseph Smith translated the records by revelation. This book contains truths about the premortal Council in Heaven, the creation of the earth, the nature of God, and the priesthood. Joseph Smith-Matthew is an excerpt (Matthew 24) from Joseph Smith’s inspired revision of the Bible and adds to our knowledge of the Savior’s teachings about His Second Coming. The writings of Joseph Smith in the Pearl of Great Price include: Joseph Smith-History, which is an excerpt from the Prophet’s history of the Church. It is a narrative of the events leading to the restoration of the Church, including the First Vision, the visits of Moroni to the Prophet Joseph, the obtaining of the gold plates, and the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood. The Articles of Faith, which the Prophet Joseph Smith wrote as basic statements of belief and doctrine.

many dont know that Mauro Biglino translated 23 books of the Bible for the Vatican. He touched the untouchable ancient books. He is not a random dude that knows ancient Hebrew. maybe you should have mentioned that.

BIglino never worked for the Vatican. Not even Biglino himself has ever made such a claim. Other have said that but it's totally false. He was occasionally contracted by a catholic publisher (which is neither owned nor controlled by the Vatican in any way) to make some interlinear translations meant as didactic tools for learners of biblical Hebrew, that's all. His interlinear versions were published together with real translations but Biglino never had anything to do with them. They were made in the '70s by professional translators and only these were approved by the Vatican. Biglino's knowledge of the Hebrew language is modest, just enough to do that basic job. The Jewish community in Italy has repeatedly bashed him for his incredible mistakes. After all he's just a self-taught guy who, at the age of 50, studied Hebrew on his own as a hobby for less than a year and then had a stroke of luck when he got in touch with a publisher in disarray that had no funds to hire qualified translators.

You’re explanation pretty much debunks what this whole video is about. I will have to look into it myself but if you have any links to what you stated that would be very helpful. I personally listen to and find John Lennox fascinating in his defence of the original translations and also the massive debates he has has with likes of Richard Dawkins and other sceptics. @@ashleycooper7208 I live in Italy and I speak the language so I have access to primary sources which unfortunately are not available in English. For example the fact that he began studying Hebrew as a hobby for less than a year at the age of 50 (therefore in 2000 since he was born in 1950) was told by Biglino himself in many of his early live events. On those occasions he also told that Piergiorgio Beretta, the editor of the interlinear Bible project which had started a few years earlier for the publisher "Edizioni San Paolo", essentially hired him via email. The volumes that had been already published were plagued by many typos and mistakes, a sign that at San Paolo they didn't have enough funds to do a proper job, and that explains why Beretta chose in a hurry such an unqualified person. Beretta is now long dead but things have not improved much: the project began in 1999 but ,incredibly, they haven't yet published the whole Bible, whereas another Italian catholic publisher (EDB-Edizioni Dehoniane Bologna) completed their own interlinear edition in just a few years. Edizioni San Paolo is definitely a catholic publisher because it was founded and is still run by catholic priests, but it's a private company and it's not owned or controlled by the Vatican. Wikipedia Italy has a page about it which you can translate to English. The Vatican's only publishing company is "Libreria Editrice Vaticana" which Biglino never worked for.

They tell the most absurd things despite the fact that as Italians they can easily find correct information in their language about him. I mean no offense, but his fans are not very bright at all. They sound like brainwashed members of a sect where of course Biglino is the supreme leader. Every day I read on their Facebook groups that he's an internationally renowned scholar, that he's among the most qualified and famous translators in the world. Once I even read a comment by someone who said that Jewish rabbis study Biglino's translations!

Since "discovering" Paul and Mauro and immersing myself in their utter paradigm shattering theories/arguments, resolving my own long held beliefs about God, Yeshua, the Creation story, the Flood, etc., I have been wrestling (really really wrestling!!) with where I actually stand with all of it. Today, after finishing this particular video, the thought "...you shall KNOW the Truth, and the Truth SHALL set you free" popped into my mind. Several hours later, that thought persists. We are all seeking truth. Once we hear these theories, we cannot unhear/unsee them - the ultimate red pill! Jordan Maxwell once posited that some of us were/are chosen to wake up to the Truth - and he assures us it is a lonely road once that happens. Friends and family who want us to stay caged in our jail of myth and fantasy, created by people who sought to control us, just can't handle our courage.

I’m the same way as you. I have been searching for the truth. I’ve researched the Bible for years and many other texts. I’ve come to the conclusion that if I dive away my fear that I will be punished by an immortal God for being deceived by the adversary for questioning, then I can see the whole picture. Take away the God versus Satan theme and look at it for what it is and you see the ancient alien theme loud and clear. I started studying on the Seth speaks by Jane Robert’s however I see some inconsistencies in that as well. I do now believe in reincarnation and a divine source that’s a clear picture for me. I believe we will ascend and make reincarnation a thing if the past at one point though too. Just how I see it.

To others, it''s the soul. The soul is on Earth to live, love, experience and to learn. This life, in this current body, is not all there is or ever will be. Here is my theory regarding life, consciousness and awareness. Life is movement. Consciousness is a cosmic ability to alter movements and hence alter life. It is difficult to think of movement without thinking of vibration and vibration frequencies. When the cosmos uses its ability (consciousness) to alter movements it is changing the frequency of vibration. In this way, the cosmos uses consciousness (that specific ability) to create. Because creation is the same 'something' existing at different frequency. This is more like H2O existing in different states. Awareness is the cosmic ability to detect or recognize alterations in movement. It is awareness that helps us recognize differences in creation and different thoughts. The moment we stop thinking of consciousness as some 'material thing' and recognize consciousness and awareness as cosmic abilities or skills is the moment the cloud is lifted from our eyes on this matter. 😊

It's a term to describe the awareness of what one self is, whether as part of the physical world or cosmic. People who have near death experiences, can have all their senses as well as move. But again it's a matter of settlement. You either settle for an argument of you don't. And you can sit in the wire and say I just don't know. Reasons and repeative proofs will likely be the answers to our curiousity otherwise we'll be arguing till the end of time.

When my mother was a little girl, she lived on a Wyoming ranch. One time, she asked my grandmother if she could go out and play. My gma agreed but replied "Stay inside the snake fence." What’s so baffling is how a book of such enigmatic storytelling have become the sole source of information for so many people even today, so many centuries later! Some would no doubt argue that this is a true sign of its divine nature, I’m sure! For me, when something is open to this degree of interpretation then it loses its validity as a guide and source of wisdom. Fortunately, there are many other trustworthy sources of wisdom around the world that I can trust. Sources that have the opposite qualities of being precise and providers of useful practices towards shaping a meaningful life and development of wisdom. I’m sure this book have been a very useful tool for ruthless rulers throughout the ages and we know that the people of the continent of Europe have been completely controlled by this single book for at least 1500 years. Its enigmatic nature have been valuable for totalitarian forces to utilize for their own selfish aims. Kings have been made in the name of its proclaimed god. Innumerable wars have been fought over its proclaimed commands. Ruthless colonial empires have been established in its glory. Rules to abide with have been layered down for all people to follow slavishly by random interpretations of this book. Even predictions of future events have been conjured up and made true through divine interpretations of this book. Due to its enigmatic and concealed nature the bible have been one of the most important instruments in keeping ordinary people enslaved and away from wisdom and enlightenment for a very long time. It’s destructive spell on the human race have been on a colossal scale and one of the foremost reasons our world is experiencing serious dangers of complete destruction today. My father is a 97 year-old, 32nd degree Free Mason. I did enjoy this hypothesis on whether or not there was actually a Monotheistic God that came to be worshipped. There can be many interpretations given to the Hebrew words. I especially like where it showed that just by removing one dot, the word could mean two totally opposite things. One verse in the Bible that I do like is, (I can't remember what chapter and verse) "It is the pleasure of God to conceal a thing, and the pleasure of Kings to find what is hidden." It does not matter if you read the Bible metaphorically or literally. The fact is, if his ancestors are his literal ancestors, then most of them were warlords from the time of King Saul. This guy makes money of throwing and distorting religion and history, forgetting that they are almost the same and people take them serious, not for money. The only part I shouldn't but will argue with is the beginning part about the translations maybe not being correct. Truth is that the stories you see in the bible are not just independent. From generation to generation, one prophet to another, the messages these prophets they carry from 'God' are interrelated, plenty are promises given to so and so prophet that if you read further after that such promises happen in the further future- in the time of another prophet. I don't know if you understand me but if the translations are wrong then atleast some of these promises shouldn't happen. What I am saying is that these fulfilled promises and prophesies relay to us the readers a complete narrative over a long time and there is no break in transmission over different prophets and authors along different times. Example, a translator reads in the untranslated bible where God promises Abraham that he would be the father of many nations, and you don't need to confirm from the English version that today, all the Muslims, Christians, and Jews of our current time prove that promise of thousands of years back correct. Or when God promises the Children of Ismael he would protect them but they will always be at war with their neighbors, it is proven today as many Islam countries do a lot of wars and fighting - the language translator wasn't wrong again. Even the Alexander the great and Darius of Persia is there, thousands of years before it happened. The Yahweh is a name/title, just like El, elshaddai, elohim, al, allah, etc- in truth it is just another name that any of these previous anunaki/gods could bare, and did bare, including the one God we have come to recognize as the one true God. These names are simply titles; god, el, al, etc.- what makes the god of Abraham, Isaac, David, the Jews, christians and muslim unique and stand is his traits of "Holiness". No other gods/deities are holy. These other gods accepted human sacrifices, etc. This Holy God, as with Abram did not accept human blood sacrifices, but that of a sheep. What I don't know is these other gods, are they all fallen angels or are ... ? The holiness of God is key to his Most divine sovereignty. Hence He is the original God of gods. The El or all els. It is normal for Abraham to refer to this god as 'they', or 'them' or the sky people, 'the annunaki', because Abraham even worshipped other gods before he met the God, and as such they were all the same and he and everyone else were well aware of the presence of all these great powers. It needs to be said. Mauro Biglino is a former translator of ancient texts for the Vatican. He has done 70 books for the Vatican before being dismissed for the truth he exposed. This was confirmed by former priest and translator Paul Wallis.

Allow me to clarify the issue: I'm Italian, I've lived in Italy all my life, and I know Biglino very well. He's a felon who was convicted for a tragic financial fraud in the Piemonte region of Italy, and only after that, at the age of 50, did he begin to study Hebrew as a hobby. Years ago he publicly declared he'd only taken 20-25 private lessons and then continued on his own for eight months (months, not years!). He never worked for the Vatican in any way, shape, or form. What happened was that after the conviction he was broke and had a family to support. He already had one main job but it wasn't enough and he needed some extra money. Father Piergiorgio Beretta, a priest who knew his situation and his basic knowledge of the Hebrew language, offered him to do some work for the Bible project he had begun with San Paolo publishing house a few years prior. San Paolo is a private business enterprise which is owned and managed by a congregation of catholic priests but it's not owned or controlled in any way by the Vatican. Here in Italy priests, nun, and friars, often have a secular job or run some kind of business in order to support their role in society, because the income they receive from the Vatican is so low they can barely survive on it (only bishops and cardinals receive a good salary plus several other benefits). The Vatican therefore had nothing to do with Biglino's side job and they never concern themselves with interlinear translations because they are merely didactic tools for beginners of Hebrew. This was clearly stated by Fr. Beretta in the Introduction to the two volumes that includes Biglino's interlinears, "Profeti minori" and "Five Meghillot". Fr. Beretta also explained that Biglino's task was merely to provide him with a rough draft that then he would rework and refine.The "seventy books" claim is laughable: the entire Hebrew Bible doesn't even contain half of that number, and several biblical books are only a few pages long (some even just one page!). In those two volumes there were indeed actual translations made for the Vatican, but Biglino had nothing to do with them: they were made decades earlier by professional translators and received the Vatican's seal of approval in the 1970s.

What I am saying is that these fulfilled promises and prophesies relay to us the readers a complete narrative over a long time and there is no break in transmission over different prophets and authors along different times. Example, a translator reads in the untranslated bible where God promises Abraham that he would be the father of many nations, and you don't need to confirm from the English version that today, all the Muslims, Christians, and Jews of our current time prove that promise of thousands of years back correct. Or when God promises the Children of Ismael he would protect them but they will always be at war with their neighbors, it is proven today as many Islam countries do a lot of wars and fighting - the language translator wasn't wrong again. Even the Alexander the great and Darius of Persia is there, thousands of years before it happened. The Yahweh is a name/title, just like El, elshaddai, elohim, al, allah, etc- in truth it is just another name that any of these previous anunaki/gods could bare, and did bare, including the one God we have come to recognize as the one true God. These names are simply titles; god, el, al, etc.- what makes the god of Abraham, Isaac, David, the Jews, christians and muslim unique and stand is his traits of "Holiness". No other gods/deities are holy. These other gods accepted human sacrifices, etc. This Holy God, as with Abram did not accept human blood sacrifices, but that of a sheep. What I don't know is these other gods, are they all fallen angels or are ... ? The holiness of God is key to his Most divine sovereignty. Hence He is the original God of gods. The El or all els. It is normal for Abraham to refer to this god as 'they', or 'them' or the sky people, 'the annunaki', because Abraham even worshipped other gods before he met the God, and as such they were all the same and he and everyone else were well aware of the presence of all these great powers. Yep. I appreciate this bc one day it occured to me that there are'nt any mountains that if a person touches it, they die. Mountains don't quake and roar and kill people if touched. Thats a space ship. And when i retranslated the word CLOUD to original language, there are 3 types. A group, a rain cloud, and a solid object in the sky...odd. Stars dont travel across the sky like the star of Bethlehem. And im pretty sure the CLOUD that was over the children of israel in the desert was a ship. Huge, shade by day and light by night. Clouds don't do that. And its odd that God told us not to kill and then shortly after commanded HIS people to go attack cities. It breaks my heart. Sometimes wish I didn't make this discovery bc sometimes ignorance is bliss. And if someone tells a Christian, usually, they resist it bc its their belief system and tradition and they wanna keep the status quo and keep whatever peace they have. I don't blame them. But I WILL point out all the odd observations I have made, NOT just in the bible but also in the Mahabharata, ancient Vedas and other ancient works. Ask yourself, does an omnipotent, omnipresent God need technology to travel? Does He need technology to interract with us? It sounds like a dumb question right? Of course not! He is everywhere! Then why is what we are told is God flying around in some sort of vehicle in Ezekiel, and using the Ark of the covenant; which is obviously some sort of generator bc it killed people? Something isn't right. Someone commented that the mountain that quaked and roared was a volcano. Do ya really think that while God was marching the children of Israel around for 40 years, he took them to a volcano? There are current stories about people who touched UFOS, the outside and got sick though. And what about the "mountain" made people wanna touch it? Why would God have to tell people not to touch the mountain? Did it have radiation? I could go on for days with questions.
