Little-known archaeological fact. The walls did not shake to pieces. They were thick enough for 5 chariots abrest, and the record shows they were shoved top-down straight into the ground. Enabling Israel to climb over the rubble hundreds of yards across.

Some think the Ark was some kind of harmonic resonance weapon, and that the walls were made of this or that. All kinds of theories. Maybe it was just an earthquake. If they were shoved top down, what was their explanation of how something like that could occur?

@@REVELATIONSTATION Preliminary work by Dr. Kenyan was largely ignored as being too fantastic to be real. As you've pointed out, there are theories. A 30ft wide wall has trouble falling over, resists assault by battering rams, and there's never dynamite around when you need it. They couldn't tunnel under it, as the wall went down as far as high. The excavation found the depth of wall exceeded the known height - the soil leaves a mark. Showing to move it, the wall did fracture but from irresistible top-down force pushing the walls straight down over hundreds of yards. The region is intensely dry, limiting liquefaction, so given the intact nature of some parts buried... God stomped on it. They walked over a few feet of rubble and took the city. No ramparts, no earthworks, nothing. That flies in the face of atheist rationalism. They didn't like the results. But it was published. First archaeological works in the modern era date from about 1925. Same year they dug up Caananite cities, and that's another story of refusals to publish for different reasons, Joseph. Love your work, BTW.

@@REVELATIONSTATION Just checked. Latest data does confirm the walls did get pushed, the remainder were all pushed outward and flattened. Might as well have been offered a drawbridge. Skeptics used radiometric dating and several assumptions to date it 1500 years before Joshua and argued there were no walls. Archaeology to the rescue, that has been corrected. Read up on the Caananites, you'll see why God wasn't a fan. Pretty horrific stuff.
