The Voice of Reason, made me become Byzantine Catholic. I was Eastern Orthodox for most of my Christian life after I left the Jehovah's Witness organization. When I first saw his video on the Rosary in like early 2023, I was hooked. And during the middle of the summer, I decided to convert, and now I'm a Melkite Byzantine Catholic as of late September. @@SuperJosh-rs6kp What lead me away from JW's is really just the fact that I got less serious about it over time. My grandmother tried to hook me on to it again but I was more into this non-denominational form of Christianity. But that phase didn't last long until I looked into Church History and invested most of my time in getting books (which thankfully I've gotten into classic literature due to this). And what kept my away from going back into the kingdom's hall is the denial of the Trinity, the denial of Hell, and the majority of weird doctrines such as a literal reading of Revelation 7&14 concerning the 144k. Not to mention the belief that Michael is Jesus, denial of blood transfusions, and many of the failed prophesies. Our Lady is the most amazing thing God has given us, I'm fully convinced it was apart of his mission, as John 19:26-28 shows that our Lady was given to St. John, and Jesus said all was finished. Our Lady's last words in Scripture is found in John 2:5 saying "do whatever he tells you" in context of Jesus, and the last words of Jesus concerning Mary is John 19:27, being "behold your Mother!" Mostly I have faith that the Miraculous Medal and the Rosary is what was used by God to convert me back to the Church. I visited this one church that was very famous in my culture (Cuban), based on the apparition the "Caridad del Cobre" with my Catholic side of the family, which is the side I was mostly raised by, I bought some sacramentals there, including a chaplet with the miraculous medal. I have 100% conviction that the little piece of metal, the Miraculous Medal, was a piece of matter that God used as a communication of grace to me.

This is one of the best teachings I’ve watched defending the Marian Dogmas. It all started for me on this Catholic journey when my eyes were opened to “behold your mother, Woman behold your Son”That verse was never in my Bible until one day it sneaked in and caught my attention. Where in the bible did Jesus called Mary "Mother"? LUKE 8:19-21 ~ Now Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see him, but they were not able to get near him because of the crowd. 20 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.” 21 He replied, “MY MOTHER AND BROTHERS ARE THOSE WHO HEAR GOD’S WORD AND PUT IT INTO PRACTICE.” Before Jesus turned the Jar into wine because Mary is leading Him to do miracle, Jesus said John 2:4 ~And Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does this have to do with me? Catholic here, was scrolling to comments and seeing yours, you seem really caring for the truth and not spreading hate, so let me reply to your points, just have a discussion between brothers in Christ. First off no Catholic believe that Mary is Our Saviour, what we say is that Mary has a great role in our redemption thanks to her "yes" to the angel Gabriel, and that is just fact, may I ask you what you believe would have happen if Mary says "no" to the angel in that occasion? Just curious, but beeing said that nobody remove nothing to the glory of Our Saviour. Now you actually made a great point when pointing out the Jesus call Mary "Woman", have you ever ask yourself why? Was Jesus disrespecting her in the wedding on Cana and on the cross? Nope! What you see actually is part of a beautiful redemption plan created by God! In fact the very 2 chapters of the Gospel of John are echoing the 7 days creation described in Genesis! Take a look at it please, you see in the Gospel of John on very first chapter "In the beginning" exactly like in Genesis, then following by "on the next day" and again "on the next day", and again, dipinting the 4 days of creation. Then you got to Chapter 2 and what you see? "On the third day that was a wedding" there we go, 4 days described in the first chapter and now on the 3 day a wedding, 4 + 3 seven days of creation! And like you have said Jesus (the new Adam as we know) call Mary "Woman", John is actually describing Mary as the new and greater Eve and just like the original one Mary was conceived sinless, and Our Blessed Mother never fall! Mary hadn't known Joseph yet that's why Mary said that. The Bible said that Joseph didn't "know" her until after Jesus was born. Also this happened after Mary spoke to the angel so Joseph hadn't taken her to be his wife yet. "And Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took Mary as his wife, but kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus." ~Matthew 1:24-25 (NASB)

Matthew 1:22-23: All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" (which means "God with us"). Therefore I would say that if you deny the title "Mother of God" to Mary you're denying the name Immanuel, you can't separate Jesus divinity and His human nature, He is one person, and He is God, so we got the virgin (Mary) give birth to the Immanuel through the Holy Spirit. Mary call Jesus her Saviour because He still is the Saviour of the world and because through Him and for her role she has been preserved from the original sin by God, this is demonstrable by the very title in which the angel address her as "full of grace", that verb speak volumes in his greek form "Kecharitomene" literally means "completely, perfectly, enduringly endowed with grace", I can give you some resources to check if you want to to verify that, Mary is also seeing as the "new Eve" who like the original one was preserved by sin until the fall, yet Mary never sin because of her fullness of grace. There are also early christian writings who confirmed that Mary was seeing as being perfectly grace from the beginning.

Apostolic succession brother, please look for the early church fathers, there is a great book named "the fathers know best" by Jimmi Akin, totally recommend it. And if you're looking for catholicism please read the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the official teachings of the church, full of bible references and everything for support. Where did the idea come from that they can hear our prayers? Did they become omnipresent like God? Although there are no sins in heaven, are they going to see murder, theft, rape, carnal prayers, deceptive prayers and so much more? Did God give them powers to do that? First of all, we do not truly know, but if you are going to ask me, I believe that God will not give us that power, for He alone is enough. About 1 Corinthians 12, let's not talk about this, because it will be very big, but this I can assure you, Protestants believe in these, but only for the time of the Apostles, while there are some Protestants who believe that God is using people to do those miracles until now. But all protestant believes that God is still doing miracles, again, the context of the 1 Corinthians 12 are the spiritual "gifts". About my stand, I will not say it, because whether I believe or not, truth remains truth. let's skip other things about Lazarus, Greater, lesser, etc., because I believe that they are already answered. The bible is complete. Who received the old testament? It was the Jews right? It is holy to them, and not just tradition, because that's their reference of what is correct, not sure about now, since people in Israel departed from God and they also don't believe Jesus. Now New Testament is the revelation of God (Not just the book or Revelation, but the whole New Testament.) The bible is complete, it is sufficient. Ephesians 2:20 tells that Christianity is built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. If we still have Apostles and Prophets, does it mean that the foundation of Christianity is in the process of building? No, because there's no prophets and apostles now, anyone who claim to be prophet and apostles are not coming from God, but of the enemy.

The disciples seem to have the same reaction as you guys when they thought Jesus was gonna not let John die. How can you dictate what God can or can't do? Also, when it says ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD, that is an exhaustive statement that does not literally mean all. I can give you another example with Scripture: Romans 11:26 says that ALL of Israel would be saved. Does this literally mean all of Israel would be saved? No--it is a general statement that does not imply EVERY SINGLE israelite would be saved, in the same way Romans 3:23 (the verse you're quoting), says all of have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Pray to God to open your eyes to the true church then reply back if you have any questions.

Alright, let’s talk about Mary’s so-called perpetual virginity. First off, Ultimately this doctrine doesn’t really matter much to me either. What does my salvation have to do with whether Marry ever had relations with a man? It’s silly to think my standing with God relies on me believing this, but for truth and accuracy’s sake , and because these doctrines are used to justify actual heretical and salvific beliefs, let’s explore. The idea that Luke 1 shows Mary had taken a lifelong vow of virginity? That doesn’t hold water. When Mary says, “How can this be, since I know not man?” she’s simply pointing out that she and Joseph hadn’t been together yet. They were betrothed, sure, but in Jewish culture, that’s like being engaged. Committed to marriage but not living together or, you know, doing what married people do. If Mary had taken some radical lifelong vow of virginity, it begs the question “why even marry Joseph?” What was he signing up for? A chaste roommate situation? Doesn’t sound like something God would orchestrate. Now, about Judges 11 and Jephthah’s daughter, I get why that’s brought up, but let’s not overreach. Jephthah’s daughter says, “I will know not man” because she’s resigned to a tragic life of singleness due to her dad’s ill considered vow. That’s a completely different situation. Mary’s line, “I have known not man,” is present tense. She’s just explaining the current state of things. It’s not some coded declaration of a perpetual vow. And about Jesus’ brothers. Here we go. Yes, Matthew 13 names them. James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas. Then the claim is made that they aren’t really Mary’s kids but sons of some other Mary mentioned at the crucifixion, the wife of Clopas. Okay, but let’s not miss the forest for the trees here. The Bible repeatedly calls these guys Jesus’ brothers. Not “cousins,” not “close relatives,” but “adelphoi”which is the literal standard Greek word for brothers. Yes, the Greek language sometimes uses adelphoi more broadly, but context matters. Why would the people in Jesus’ hometown in Matthew 13 think these were Mary’s sons if they weren’t? Were they all just confused about who lived under one roof? Saying Greek has no words for other close family members is just wrong. The Bible does use specific terms. For example, in Colossians 4:10, Paul refers to Mark as “Barnabas’s cousin” using the Greek word anepsios, which means cousin. A quick search in my interlinear Bible app shows a bunch of examples. Luke 1:36 refers to Mary’s close relative Elizabeth with the word “suggenes”. Acts 23:16 Paul’s “nephew” is mentioned using the Greek huios tes adelphes” which literally translates to “son of his sister”. If the Gospel writers wanted to say Jesus’ brothers were actually cousins, they could’ve said it. But they didn’t, they used adelphoi, which in context, literally, and plainly read means brothers. The language is there, it’s just not supporting your claim. And if Mary were a perpetual virgin, why does Matthew 1:25 make it so clear that Joseph “knew her not until she had brought forth her firstborn son”? That “until” implies something changed afterward. It doesn’t say Joseph never knew her, it says he didn’t until Jesus was born. Your refutation of this argument is weak. What’s the first rule about reading scripture? Context context context Also, the term “firstborn” naturally implies there were more children to follow. You don’t call an only child the “firstborn,” do you? That would be weird. The real kicker is this, if the church is supposedly divinely inspired to believe Mary was a perpetual virgin, why doesn’t the Bible come out and say it? Why is this doctrine built on such a shaky stack of assumptions, linguistic gymnastics, and indirect arguments? You’d think something so central to Mary’s role would be crystal clear, but it’s not. What is clear is that Mary was an incredible woman who played a unique, God ordained role in bringing the Savior into the world. But perpetual virginity? That’s adding to Scripture, and last I checked, Revelation 22:18-19 had some strong words about that. I’ll continue my refutation of the rest of these dogmas tomorrow. Feel free to challenge.

As a Catholic, I do not question the dogma or doctrine, including the perpetual virginity of Mary, the Mother of God. However, my question is: Why would a girl, devout to a life of virginity get married? Does it not make more sense, that she would remain a virgin because of her discovered holiness?

2 Timothy 3:16-17 ~ 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. If you have doubts, seek God through the "Word of God", scripture. If something is not written or cannot be backed up with the bible, and it's talking about God, then it is not worth learning, because any conclusion outside or cannot be supported by the scriptures will fall to wrong. But one this is sure, anything that opposes the Scriptures is sure wrong, because it's not vice versa.

Marriages were arranged back then and were a social contract. They were not done out of romantic love as we think of a marriage today. So, there could be many reasons why a girl would be betrothed to someone that had taken a vow. The other important aspect is that St. Joseph agreed with her vow of celibacy.

That's a great question. Id assume here it's possible it's a hyperbolic compliment? But only God knows for sure the exact meaning of what He meant when He said that. Maybe like among all men John is the most worthy to be held in high regards? Mary didn't have a following, John did so it would make sense to say that about John.

Finished work of Christ is over simplified by protestants. Jesus is the bridegroom we (the church) are the bride. The vulgate translates John 19:30 as “it is consummated” not “it is finished” and although they could technically mean the same thing, if a marriage is finished verses it is consummated means something very different. Now focusing on Jesus role as bridegroom and our role as bride, well wives are called to be obedient to their loving husbands as we are now in the marriage as the wedding feast ended at the cross, we as the church (bride) are called to do our part. “Finished” doesn’t really mean “finished” when it comes to the cross. “Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you and fill up those things that are wanting of the sufferings of Christ, in my flesh, for his body, which is the church” [Colossians 1:24]

Hello brother or sister in christ ! That's because the marian dogma is unfortunately unbiblical. I'm watching the video, but I'm pretty positive I heard it all already. Guy makes a lot of baseless claims about dogmas. If the Marian dogma was biblical, I would have absolutely no problem with it. If transsubstantiation was biblical (real presence) I would have no problem with it. If Faith + works was biblical, I would have zero problem with it. I follow the Bible. Because the Roman Catholic church has been far, very far, from being infallible. The Assumption wasn't even a dogma before the XX° century, if I remember correctly. We cannot hold on to 2 millenias of tradition without having actual evidence that it really comes from Jesus.

Its my understanding that the early church held transubstantiation as true and I think it is biblical "this IS my body and my blood". Now do I believe it is the physical body or the spiritual body? I don't know and it doesn't necessarily matter to me, all I know is I should treat it with extreme reverence. All the Marian dogmas are not biblical I agree. Some of them have a basis in Scripture but not explicitly stated. But I'm in the process of learning the Early Church's opinions on them and it seems perpetual virginity is correct at the least. The other Dogmas, I don't know yet. I instinctively have an aversion to the immaculate conception but I'm in the process of following the evidence then coming to a conclusion. All of this comes down to whatever the Early Church held as true to me as they learnt directly from Jesus and the disciples. Also I believe that the issue Protestants have with Catholics about faith plus works comes down to intentional obstinance or a misunderstanding of what Catholics understand of Grace. If you asked them they will say they believe in salvation through Grace. They don't believe that you having to cooperate with grace makes it works based. Unless I'm wrong and a Catholic corrects me. I'm learning more about the Catholic and Orthodox faith at the moment with a particular interest in the early Church as I reckon learning what the disciples of the Disciples did after Jesus's death in terms of how they worshipped is going to be as close to the fullness of the truth as I can get. Thats my honest thoughts. ❤️✝️

Protestant here, the argument I've heard was that God made Mary sinless, (and not the rest of us) because she alone could choose rightly in that state and not fall. If any of the rest of us were made as Adam and Eve were, we would have been tempted and fallen. Mary used her freewill to choose rightly therefore helping to undo what happened in the garden from the perspective of the woman. Jesus undoes the sins of Adam, Mary through God's grace to her undoes the sins of eve, and through the adoption of us as sons and daughters of Christ Mary becomes the new "mother of all of the living". Since in Adam we all die and in Christ we all live, that would redeem the title of "eve" in the person of Mary. Hope that helps!

Mary was a queen, and we know this because she is the mother of the King, who took the throne of David. In the Davidic Kingdom, who was the queen? The queen was always the MOTHER of the king! If you believe that Jesus is the Jewish King of the universe, sitting on the same throne as the kings of Israel, then you must believe that Mary is the queen. THIS is how theology is done. And yes, grace is an undeserved gift and it comes from God. Do you believe that Adam and Eve had undeserved favor from God when they were created and BEFORE they committed the original sin?? The answer is yes, they did. Adam and Eve were sinless and had grace. In fact, sin is what REMOVES you from a state of grace. When they sinned they fell from grace, and lost this original grace for all of mankind. But guess what! Jesus saved His own mother by creating her with this original grace/justice. Of course Mary needed a savior, and she was saved in a special, unique way due to her roll in God’s plan of salvation. Mary was saved by Jesus. And He saved her by creating her without sin, and keeping her sinless. She could not have done it without Him.

All too many times these devolve into mockery. That’s not what God wants and it’s not what I want. That being said,your claim that “Hail is only for royalty”? That’s reaching. “Hail” (chaire in Greek) literally means rejoice or greetings. It’s not a royal exclusive term, it’s just a common greeting in Scripture. Want proof? In Matthew 28:9, after the resurrection, Jesus greets the women with chaire, same word. Were they queens? Nope. It’s just how people talked. Now, onto the “queen mother” argument. Yes, in the Davidic kingdom, the mother of the king held a position of honor (like Bathsheba to Solomon in 1 Kings 2:19). But this doesn’t mean every king’s mother is automatically the queen. Jesus is unique. His kingdom isn’t like David’s or anyone else’s. It’s eternal, heavenly, and about redeeming all of humanity. He never calls Mary queen or assigns her that role. In fact, Scripture never hints at Mary ruling alongside Him. She’s honored, absolutely, but not enthroned. If theology requires this much backflipping, maybe it’s time to check the foundation. Now, let’s talk about Adam and Eve and grace. Yes, they were created sinless, and they had God’s favor before the fall. But there’s a big difference here, they were created in a state of innocence, while Mary was a descendant of Adam, born into the same sinful humanity as the rest of us. Romans 5:12 makes it clear, “Sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned.” That’s all, no exceptions except Jesus. This idea that Jesus “saved Mary in advance” by creating her sinless? It’s clever, but it’s not biblical. Nowhere does Scripture say Mary was created without sin or kept sinless. In fact, Mary herself says in Luke 1:47, “My spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” If she needed a Savior, she wasn’t sinless. The very idea of needing salvation assumes there’s something to be saved from. And no, “special unique saving” isn’t in the text, it’s in the imagination of those trying to justify a dogma. Yes, Mary had grace, just like every believer has grace. She was highly favored because God chose her for an incredible role in His plan, not because she was sinless or royal. Mary’s greatness isn’t in her being a queen or a sinless superhuman. It’s in her humble submission to God’s will. She points to Christ, not to herself. That’s how theology is done, by sticking to what Scripture says, not what we wish it said. Let’s honor Mary the way Scripture does, as the blessed servant of God who carried our Savior. But let’s save the throne for the One who actually sits on it, Jesus Christ, the King of kings.

@ I’m sorry, my friend, but you have made many blunders here. First of all, while you are correct that the term ‘Hail’ is indeed a joyful greeting (I never said it wasn’t), the Greek word ‘Chaire’ is NOT the word used in Matthew 28:9! The word used is ‘Chairete’ which is the COMMAND form of Hail in Greek. What this means is that, when Jesus appeared to these women, He was NOT hailing them, He was commanding them to Hail Him, which is exactly what they did, because the verse goes on to say that they grabbed His feet and WORSHIPPED Him! The word ‘chaire’ IS used in Luke 1:28, and it’s only used 4 other times in the New Testament - and every single one of those times is for JESUS! What this means is that the word Chaire is EXCLUSIVE to ONLY Jesus and MARY! Check the Greek concordance for Chaire. Another blunder you’ve made is saying that every king’s mother was not automatically the queen. This is false. The mother of the king was ALWAYS the queen! Read 1 Kings 2:13-25, 11:26, 14:21, 15:1-2, 10, 13, 22:42, 2 Kings 10:13, 24:8-12, Jeremiah 13:18, 29:2. Every single time that a new king of Israel and/or Judah is mentioned, his queen mother is always mentioned! They reigned together! The Kingdom of Jesus Christ IS like the Kingdom of David. Christ is the King of the Jews just like David was. The Bible says that Christ’s kingdom is the fulfillment and CONTINUATION of the Davidic Kingdom (Mark 11:10; Luke 1:31-33). Christ’s kingdom has EVERYTHING that the Davidic Kingdom had, in its fulfilled form. This INCLUDES the queen mother! Pointing out that Jesus never called Mary a queen, but that’s an irrelevant argument from silence, which ultimately doesn’t work because the Bible DOES refer to the mother of Jesus as a queen in Revelation 12! She has the CROWN of 12 stars on her head, and she is the mother of all who believe in the messiah! This is called the typological reading of Scripture - reading the New Testament in light of the Old . When you read the New Testament like a JEW, you get Catholicism! Your theology divorces the New Covenant from its Jewish roots. Are you saying that God isn’t powerful enough to create anyone without sin after Adam and Eve? Is God not capable of doing such a thing? See, Mary was indeed saved from sin, but she was saved by being kept from falling into sin in the first place. When we sin, Jesus saves us from pulling us out of sin. Mary would have been born into sin, but Jesus saved her by creating her with the original grace/justice that Adam and Eve had. So Jesus did save Mary, but He saved her by preventing her from ever falling into sin, which Jude 1:24 says God can do. Whether He saves someone by pulling them out of sin or by preventing them from falling into sin, He still saved them. Mary needed a savior because she WOULD have been born with original sin had Jesus not intervened. He saved her from all sin, including original sin. And I explain the Biblical basis for this in this video. And I agree that we should honor Mary the way scripture says we should! Do you call Mary your mother??? Because John 19 and Revelation 12 calls her the mother of the Church. If you don’t consider Mary your mother, then you are NOT honoring her the way Scripture says we should. In fact, you are dishonoring Christ Himself, who, in His very last act before dying on the cross, gave us His mother to be our own.

You’re saying that in Matthew 28:9, Jesus wasn’t greeting the women but commanding them to hail Him, and they did worship Him because, well, He’s the risen Son of God. Fair enough. But in Luke 1:28, when the angel greets Mary with “chaire,” it’s still just a joyful salutation, not some declaration that Mary holds divine status alongside Jesus. You can’t see that you’re reading something into text that just isn’t there over a greeting? Angels would have known that Mary, like all men are God’s favored creation, made in His image, especially ones that are redeemed. Mary had faith, and was obviously saved by Jesus. His sacrifice covers all sin, even past sin before His crucifixion. So Mary was definitely royalty, just like every believer in Christ is called “heirs” “children of God”, “kings” and “royal priesthood”. So even if “hail” was only meant for royalty, it still fits in context because God made us royal. Mary was highly favored, blessed among women, but the key here is among women. The angel isn’t putting her on a pedestal as co-equal with Christ. The focus is always on what God has done through her, not on Mary herself. She’s honored, not deified. Also, I did a quick search in my interlinear Bible and I found a couple more. Acts 15:23 in a letter sent from the elders to gentiles uses chaire, and James 1:1 where he greets “the twelve tribes scattered across the nation”. Both times it’s translated as “greetings”. I also found many different examples outside of the Bible from that time period and region of “chaire” being used as a joyful greeting. Now, about this idea that every king’s mother was automatically the queen, I think you’re overstating things a bit. Sure, there’s precedent for the “queen mother” role in Israelite tradition, but not every single king had a reigning queen mother mentioned. Even in the cases where she’s honored, she doesn’t hold authority over the king. And comparing this to Christ’s kingdom gets tricky. Yes, His kingdom fulfills the Davidic promises, but Jesus flips the script in so many ways. He’s not a king like David, constrained by earthly traditions. He’s the King of Kings, reigning supreme over all creation. Nowhere in Scripture does He ever establish Mary as queen in His kingdom. You referenced Revelation 12, but that’s not a slam dunk for your argument. The woman in Revelation 12 is a symbolic figure, representing Israel or the Church, not exclusively Mary. The crown of twelve stars? That’s about the twelve tribes of Israel, not Mary’s personal coronation. Let’s be careful not to read into the text something that isn’t clearly there. I see where you’re going with the immaculate conception argument, but there’s a big assumption in play here. The Bible never says Mary was sinless. In fact, Mary herself says, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior” (Luke 1:46-47). Why would she need a Savior if she were without sin? The idea that she was preemptively saved from sin isn’t biblical; it’s a theological invention. Jude 1:24, which you cited, is about God keeping believers from stumbling through His grace, not about creating someone sinless from birth. And while God is all-powerful and certainly could have created Mary sinless, the question is, did He? Scripture doesn’t teach that He did. It teaches that Jesus alone is sinless (2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 2:22). As for John 19 and Revelation 12 calling Mary the mother of the Church, I think you’re stretching the text again. In John 19, Jesus entrusts Mary to John, not to establish her as the mother of all believers but to ensure she’s cared for after His death. It’s a personal, loving act. Revelation 12’s symbolism, as I mentioned earlier, isn’t about Mary. The Church doesn’t need a “mother” other than God Himself, who created and sustains it through Christ. Look, I’m not here to tear down your devotion. Mary’s story is beautiful, and her faith is inspiring. But devotion becomes dangerous when it shifts our focus away from Jesus. Christ is the center of our faith, the only mediator, the only King, the only Savior. Let’s honor Mary the way the Bible does, as a humble servant of the Lord who points us to Jesus, not as someone who competes for His glory.

Never did Jesus called Mary "MOTHER" but "WOMAN". Where in the bible did Jesus called Mary "Mother"? @@dherpin4874 don't think to much, the Apostles didn't gave too much emphasis to Mary, have you ever read the entire bible? I'm not sure why Moses wrote Genesis 3:15 and is now causing confusion, but you should be aware that Jesus is the protagonist here. I believe that the verse is also mentioning Mary, but for Revelation 3:17, read the whole Revelation 3, it's not talking about Mary, I'm also not sure of the meaning, but it's not Mary, read. Revelation 12:5-6 ESV [5] She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne, [6] and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days. Is that child Jesus? I think it's not (edit: it might really be talking about Jesus and Mary, but not for us to pray or worship Mary, that's idolatry and lack of knowledge about what God did), but one thing is sure, this isn't literal. Don't you know that God hate people praying to the dead people? Jesus resurrected right? He is not dead, pray to Jesus, not to Mary or to any saints. He is our only mediator to God, I can't give time to finding verses. I apologize if you think I'm being rude, I'm also seeking truth, not because I'm confused, but because I'm accepting "Truth". There’s so many things in scripture that can prove Mother Mary had no other children after she gave birth to Jesus and here’s one of them and that is when Jesus was invited to the wedding and scriptures say that mother Mary was there not with the so called other brothers and sisters that Jesus Christ had and there the passage of when Jesus Christ went to the temple to worship and mother Mary and Saint Joseph got separated from Jesus for three days and it doesn’t mention anything about mother Mary and Saint Joseph along with their other children looking for Jesus together Hmmmm?🤔😳😯🙄

God revealed his truth through the prophets, and there are no prophets since John, so anything considered truth after John would not be considered truth, so any teaching outside of what was revealed by the prophets should be tested against scripture, prima scriptura then tradition, there should be a paper or oral trail all the way back to the actual Apostles, there should not be a missing link between the Apostles and dogmas.
