I asked God to send his holy spirit to me in order for me to have better luck repenting from sexual immorality. And sure enough since Oct last year 2021 to February 2022 I have not committed sexual sins. No sex at all. Praise God. If you ask the Lord and also aim yourself to also try not to commit sexual sins, it can be accomplished. I have no thought to doing it ever again God willing!

It was going to make me ashamed. Not only that, but outside marriage sex is a sin. And I know that once you marry a woman, she would soon divorce afterwords just like most other women do, just so that the woman can get half of everything that the husband accomplish. Now I'm sorry if that offend some of you women, but it's the problem all these women tend to have due to shady Divorce Court rules. That's why I've been single and never had a kid. Besides, this is not the world to be having kids grow up in. The world is dangerous.

I pray, worship and read. God has delivered me from from hyper-sexuality,pornography many other things. I’ve been celibate for almost 3 years and I still struggle with lust and masturbation. I notice it comes in waves.. I’m just so torn because I want a partner but it seems I’m so different from everyone, I feel like n alien. No one I meet online wants to just talk about God, maybe the first week or so but then it changes. Even when I attended church I felt like the single men there would just throw themselves at me. I honestly feel like the time is too short and God wants me to stay single. It’s a daily battle between the flesh and spirit. You are in the same place as me. I used to be very sexual but since finding God I'm now celibate but struggle with masturbation. I stopped watching porn but then got pulled back into watching soft porn thinking it is not so bad but I just don't know. There is nothing in the bible about it. It does say about the lusts of the flesh but some people believe that to be our flesh lusting over money, power, other married people etc as in we are the flesh (rather than spirit) and there are these worldly lusts that entice us. I am not being adulterous or committing fornication though. There is nobody in my sphere that is interested in God or wants to wait until marriage to have sex so the planet feels like a very lonely place right now. I will pray for us both and the others that struggle with our conscience to do the right thing. I have seen some Christian dating apps are available but I'm in the UK and they don't attract many people from here. Perhaps in the US people will have better luck.

If all this is true, one has to wonder what is the point of being born to live in the material world. I also have trouble understanding a God so intent on us remaining “good” , would put a tree in the centre of a garden and tell the “children” not to eat of it. Then when they are curious and eat if the tree, they’re basically condemned. Also why is there an evil “serpent” allowed to exist in the garden? I’m sorry, I’ve heard we shouldn’t take the story of Adam and Eve literally, but it doesn’t make much sense in many interpretations. I personally would never leave a child in a garden with a poisonous tree in the centre of it, and I don’t know what’s worse, telling the child to not eat of the tree, or not telling them…but either way it’s extremely careless. So, is God this careless?

I'm a 38 year old male and still haven't had intercourse. The first and last thought of every single day is "I still haven't had sex." I'm Christian so from an early age decided it's best to wait for the right person but I never thought I'd still be waiting at this age. I've had some relationships, been on countless dates and had some sexual experience but just not gone all the way. I feel I have missed out on one of the greatest joys in life - true love and sex. I had a dream a few years ago when i was astray but now i know i have to tell people about it. In this dream, i was on a hill with my friend and i saw some black animal fall from the sky on its back. when it hit earth, the ground opened up and lava was coming out, it got up to my chin, i couldn't move and i thought 'i guess this is it' then an angel took me by my arm and we went up to sky and to space. In space was a tunnel and we went through it and there was an open gate so we just went in. I stepped on the grass and the angel left me there. I looked around, i remember breathing in fresh air and i saw beautiful trees and a waterfall and i saw a statue or something that represented knowledge. On my left, a man came up, i think it was Jesus, i pointed at the statue and i told him 'we have this down there too' and he said 'what u have down there is nothing compared to what we have here' and i woke up after that, couldn't ask him anything. it is a warning for me and others that we don't know as much as we think we do and we aren't supposed to enjoy this world too much because there is something a lot better for us in heaven. do not give in to this world, these desires of flesh, stay strong in your faith because Jesus Christ is coming back soon! I accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour and i hope you do the same, we have to repent while we still have time

Thank you for this message. I knew when I found Jesus becoming a christian would not be easy because I had to leave my sinful lifestyle behind. To be honest I’m over this world. It’s so demonic. Even though I’m struggling to provide for my two autistic children. I’m going to keep trusting God. I was fired for not getting the vaccine. I have lupus and been struggling for years with all my medications aches and pains. I’m a single mother with two autistic boys now struggling to support them. Am I rejected? God has shown me many things I believe, not only in His word but also in works of people like John Bunyan, John Owen or Thomas Brooks, but I've been repeatedly backsliding into sexual immorality, lusting and God has not disciplined me at all for it I feel, Hebrews 12:8 states that God will chastise those who are his sons, and those who receive no chastisement are bastards and therefore not his sons. Honestly I feel myself being more and more hardened and getting cold, does that mean that I have sinned away my salvation and the Holy Ghost has departed from me and I knew it not like it was with Saul? I still confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is come in the flesh according to 1 John 4:2, but on the other hand 1 John 5:18 states that whosoever is born of God sinneth not, yet I still keep falling back into sin, even willful sinning, how can both be true at the same time? For months I've been stuck at home, I've been constantly praying to God to give me a purpose, yet I receive no answer, I prayed that he discipline me and chastise me so that I may know that I am a son of His, yet nothing happens, I'm just at home reading and reading books over books, is it normal that God does not give me any answer at all ? Have I already sinned away my salvation and become a reject and I'm just talking to myself all the time? Why is God not giving me an answer concerning my state? I'm this close to losing my faith to be honest. I've been asking for God to give me a purpose, to lead me to a church to join so that I can have fellowship and steadfastness, yet I receive no answer at all. Is God's absolute silence in those cases a sign that I am rejected? I'm being tempted by my own lusts and the devil to just go ahead and throw away my life by indulging in my indwelling sinful desires, everyday I'm tempted to do so, if I'm not a reject, why does God allow this to keep going on when I've begged him many times to help me overcome, I can't do it myself alone just like john 15:9 says, I feel like giving in, and every day that goes by the thought of just giving in appears to come closer and closer to my heart, I can feel the deadness inside myself growing. God has freed me from many sinsful lusts and desires, yet he keeps me suffering under lustful desires that I fall back into over and over, why does God allow for that state to keep going on? I don't know what to believe anymore, my lust for fornication is pushing me to act out everyday, it even makes me fantasize about going to prostitutes and even gets me to write with them, but then I stop, it's a constant daily struggle and it's very tyring, it's making my soul grow cold and I've lost almost all desire to read the bible or any other christian book. I can't recount how many times I have already begged God to set me free from this desire, but nothing happens, no answers, how am I supposed to change if God does not give me a purpose, something to do, a church to join, a job to do? I don't want to start just a random job again because I want God to decide what he wants me to do, yet I get no answer from Him, I'll never beat this internal drive and desire to fornicate if I don't receive help from God Himself, I can only hold out so long against the assaults of my sexual desires. Maybe I really have stepped over the line too many times backsliding and I couldn't blame Him for turning away from me and leaving me to my devices, God help me.

I have been struggling for years, things worsened after a bad work accident. While at home, I have been experiencing things like you. There were days that I'd contemplate suicide, life seemed pointless to me; no way out. But brother, there is always a way out, have you looked around for churches? I had to force myself to step out of my comfort zone and face anxiety to go out and seek fellowship. Confession of sin has helped a lot, I joined a men's group called AVENUE. When you can put your preconceived thought of the pre trib rapture aside and read as a child would, the whole Bible opens up to you.
