Trumpets figure prominently in the prophetic language of the Bible. Most people have heard of the seven trumpets of Revelation. These trumpets will signal seven powerful plagues unleashed on the earth during the Day of the LORD. The seventh of these trumpets will signal the beginning of Christ’s reign over the kingdoms of this world. And this trumpet will also announce the resurrection of the saints to glory.
But who has ever heard of the “FEAST of Trumpets”? Just what is the “Feast of Trumpets”?
The Feast of Trumpets is one of the seven biblical Feasts that are outlined in Scripture. These are holy days observed annually by a growing number of Christians around the world. These holy days are not just empty rituals, but deeply, meaningful holy days that provide a framework for the plan of salvation. They teach us how God is bringing many sons to glory, as it says in Hebrews 2:10.
If you haven’t heard of the Feast of Trumpets, why not?
Maybe it’s time you did. Because your Bible shows this feast day is a significant day of worship to God. And keeping it can give us a depth of understanding about where we are in prophecy, and where we’re headed.

the names of the various shofar (ram’s horn) blasts heard every year in the synagogue in the month of Tishrei. The first of Tishrei, variously falling in September or October, is known in the Bible as the Feast of Trumpets and more widely today as Rosh Hashanah. Rosh Hashanah, meaning “the head of the year” in Hebrew, is known in English as the Jewish New Year. It is one of three holy festivals that the Lord commanded the Jewish people to observe in Tishrei, the seventh month of the Jewish calendar. (The reason it is known as the New Year even though it is the seventh month biblically is because there are several new years-religious, civil, and others.) The other two are Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement (on Tishrei 10) and Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles (beginning on Tishrei 15). Besides heralding the arrival of Tishrei, the Feast of Trumpets also begins a 10-day period known as the Yamim Nora’im (Days of Awe) that falls between the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement. Those 10 days are a time for Jewish people to reflect on sin and repent in preparation for the latter day. --GIVEN TO THE JEWS!!!! Not the gentiles!!

The feasts are the feasts of YaHUaH (YHUH), and they were given in Lev 23 to the children of Israel for a perpetual statute. Perpetual means forever, to all generations of the children of Israel. SOME Christians believe Paul in Romans 11, that we (wild olive tree branches, gentiles), need to be grafted into Israel (the cultivated olive tree) in order to partake of the root and richness of the covenants made by the Most High with Israel, and only Israel. Paul explains this again in Ephesians 2 that we can be made members of the “Israel of God” by the death and resurrection of Messiah, and we (gentiles) can be a part of the plan, the kingdom. The book of Hebrews also explains this in Chapter 8 and 10 (I am going off memory) that the NEW Covenant is given to the house of Judah and the house of Israel, and it includes writing the laws of God on the hearts and minds of His people by his Spirit, in order that they will obey Him. This is the only record of the new covenant given in the New Testament. If you want more details on the New Covenant and who it is offered to and what it entails, then see Jeremiah 31 and Ezekiel 36. SOME Christians, such as myself, believe these things as written and explained above. Therefore as grafted in members of the Israel of God, we celebrate His set apart days (and not the man-made traditions).

Under the Mosaic Law, there was NO "festival (or feast, Hebrew mishteh, meaning "a banquet or feast") of trumpets", but a "memorial ("memorial", Hebrew zikrown, meaning "a momento or memorable thing", something to keep in mind) signaled by the trumpet blasts" (Lev 23:24), and there were three festivals ("festival", Hebrew chagag, meaning "properly, to observe a festival") that Israelite men were to attend, to observe. (1) the Festival of Unleavened Bread, (2) the Festival of Harvests, and (3) the Festival of Ingathering or Booths, plus the annual Day of Atonement held on Tishri 10 or about September 25 of the Gregorian calendar, for the Jewish seventh month of Tishri ran from about the middle of September through about the middle of October.(Ex 23:14-17; Lev 23:9-32; Num 28:17) Note: the seventh Jewish month of Tishri was opened with a trumpet blast, but this does NOT make Tishri 1 nor the upcoming Day of Atonement, the "Festival of Trumpets" or "Feasts of Trumpets", but on Tishri 1, announced to the nation of Israel that the annual day of Atonement (whereby the sins of the nation of Israel were "atoned" for or forgiven for 1 year) was quickly approaching so as to mentally and spiritually prepare themselves, and effectively corresponded to the weekly Sabbath or "seventh" day (Ex 16:29), where NO hard work was to be done on Tishri 1 or on the Day of Atonement on Tishri 10. But what is really important is the question of what does the three festivals that really started with the Passover on Nisan 14 (Ex 12:1-7; Deut 16:1-8), the day before the Festival of Unleavened Bread began in Nisan 15 and ran until Nisan 21, through the Festival of Harvests (or "Pentecost", with Pentecost being Greek meaning "50"), counting 50 days from Nisan 16, which came to near the end of the month of May (or during the Jewish month of Sivan), till the final Festival of Ingathering or Booths, from Tishri 15-21 ? Clue: They have to do with God's heavenly Kingdom that Jesus taught his disciples to pray for at Matthew 6:9, 10, and he spoke of some 100 times. They have to do with the symbolic "woman" and her "offspring" at Genesis 3:15, that is seen again at Isaiah 49, 54, 60-62, Galatians 4, Revelation 12. They have to do with restoring the genuine peace lost in the rebellion in the garden of Eden (Gen 3:1-6), removing sin that leads to sickness and death (Rom 5:12), with finishing what God, whose name is Jehovah (see Isa 12:2; 26:4, KJV), began in the garden of Eden with the creation of the first human couple, a paradise earth for "meek" ones to enjoy forever in perfect peace and security.(see Gen 1:26-31; Ps 37:11, 29; Matt 5:5)

Trumpets is a Feast of announcements. It announced Mt Sinai, the birth of Messiah on Tishri 15, the Feast of Tabernacles, and will announce the resurrection/rapture at the 7th trumpet in Revelation 11:14.

They are two separate Feasts. Passover, Unleavened Bread, Wave Sheaf and First Fruits all run in succession. They all contain marvels. Most Christians don't realize that Yeshua ascended into heaven to present himself as the Wave Sheaf. When He ascended, He took the risen saints of Matthew 27:52-53 with Him. We see this in John 20:11-17. He wasn't allowed to be touched until He presented Himself to the Father as the acceptance for the First Fruit offering saints He took with Him into heaven. Once accepted, He left those saints of Matthew 27:52-53 in heaven and returned to earth. Notice in Matthew 28:9 that the disciples took hold of His feet. He didn't tell them to not touch Him as He did with Magdalene in John 20:17. Now you know where the 24 elders came from in Rev 4:4. The Feasts of YHVH are full of these wonders. But that's the best I've been shown. This is why David penned Psalms 119:18. But how can we see these wonderous things if they are not taught in our churches? Paul speaks of these resurrections in 1Cor 15:20-24. All are raised in order. Verse 22, " For as in Adam all die, so also in the Messiah all shall be made alive." Verse 23, " But each in his own order: The Messiah the first fruits, then they that are Messiah's at his coming. There is no comma between Messiah the first fruits because Messiah took them with Him to present to the Father as the first fruits. The Wave Sheaf and first Fruits are presented together. The difference between first fruits which is the barley harvest and the Feast of Weeks is the wheat harvest in latter spring.

It is spoken of in the Revelation of jesus Christ, chapter 20, Additional details are spoken of in the book of Ezekiel, if I'm not mistaken. I don't remember which chapter off the top of my head. The Feasts of The Lord are for all, not just the Jews. I believe that spiritual Israel is the true church, so if a person identifys with the Israel of God, then it would be a privilege to keep these Feasts. No one has to tell a traditional Christian' to keep the pagan influenced holidays like Christmas or Easter. Keeping these Feasts will not make you popular around the other Christians, but it pleases THE FATHER.

The verses of Col. 2:16 -- 17 are great verses reinforcing the importance of whom the body of Christ allows themselves to be judged by in their Christian worship. That specifies "... no one but the Body (is) of Christ." The translators' additional word "is" redirects the meaning of the paragraph. Whenever the Sabbath is assigned a date in scripture it always falls on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of month. Therefore a Saturday Sabbath is false. The Sabbath is assigned a number not a man made planetary name. The despotic Gregorian Calendar has changed times and laws. The only way to find the true ancient holy 7th Day Sabbath is to use the calendar established during creation week. You are a little confused. Firstfruits and Shavuot (pentecost) are two seperate feasts. Shavuot is the feast of weeks occurring 50 days after Firstfruits. Also The Lord in Leviticus is YHVH. YEHOVAH. Abba Father.

The 8th day represents a different Holy day. It is called the 8th day, so we know when to observe it.

To truly understand these Feasts you really need to understand the covenant that was given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The 12 Tribes which are the sons of Jacob. Please read and study the Old Testament because it is so important and relevant to be able toncomprehend all that is being said in the New Testament. Yahushua is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He only taught the Torah of Moses, and so did Paul, Peter, James, and all the rest of His taught ones. for me it took the revelation 12 sign to see that it happened also on a feast of trumpets. And from then I learned that the feast of trumpets signifies the Rapture of the church. It's not a Jewish holiday as the Jews will not be taken in the rapture. These are the Lord's appointments and are for all of us to observe. Speaking of the Feast of Tabernacles, you mention Lev 23:33-36 but what about verses 40-43 which give more specific instructions about the Feast of Tabernacles AND it's practice and significance; that's the part you leave out to justify your practice of keeping the Feast of Hotels which contradicts the practice of this most significant Feast of God's and negates it's profound significance, that of the exodus from Egypt and portends and describes the 'place of safety' during the final exodus from that 'great city' (Rev 17:18) directed in Rev 18:4! Be careful. The Feast of Trumpets is not the same as the 7th trumpet judgement of Revelation. Matthew 24:38-39 "38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, 39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." Those on the earth would not be eating, drinking, and getting married if the 5th trumpet had just unleashed stinging locusts. They will be hiding, and "seeking death but will not find it" (Rev 9:6). The day of the Lord begins the first day of the Tribulation. 2 Thessalonians 2, 1-4 explains this. The 7th trumpet is not the Last Trump. There is only one Last Trump and that is the Last Trumpet blown on the Last day of the Feast of Trumpets. 1 Corinthians chapter 15 Paul is explaining and reminding the Corinthians how to Celebrate the Feasts. When Paul says at the last Trump, the Corinthians knew exactly what he was talking about because he just got done explaining the Feast of Trumpets to them. Saying the 7th trumpet is the last Trump takes it completely out of context. So saying the 7th trumpet is the last trumpet is completely false.

This man is decieving you. Feast of Trumpets is the call for the Body of Christ to the Rapture of the Church to meet Jesus in the air not Jesus coming to earth to the Mount of Olives to begin the Millenial Kingdom. The 7th Trumpet of Revelation is blown by an angel, that is not the Trump of God. The believing church will not go through the Wrath of God or Satan's wrath. He is mixing Israel's Religion with Paul's Gospel of Grace. Grace & Law do not mix.

Jesus returns in two ways. 1. in the clouds invisible to the world. 2. On the mount of o;ives visible to the world. The rapture takes place before the 7 years of tribulation.

The early rapture is a man made teaching that didn't even start until the 1800's. A guy named John Darby came up with it. And there's no future 7 year. That's a fulfilled prophecy. The same 70 weeks/years are mentioned in Jeremiah 29:10. And if you pay attention to Daniel 9 it's clear to see that time period was going to end in his day.

Where do you get the 1000 years are going to be on earth. It's going to be in heaven. 2 Thessalonians 2:7-9 speaks of a taken out of the way while those left behind along with the earth will be destroyed. There will be no life on earth during this time. Rev. 20 is another reference. Verse 5 referring to those left, After the 1000 years they'll rise for judgment before going to the lake of fire then we'll have a new earth.

Revelation 12:9 And here is what Paul says about Satan's ministers: 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
